    Doing keto, how often should i carb up?

    Eating 2400 calories a day, and the fat is ripping off. Was wondering how often should i carb load, to keep my body confused?

    Was thinking of swapping my fat macros with carb macros on that day, giving me around 500 grams of carbs, 180 grams of protein, and around 13 grams of fat is that's even possible for one day.

    If you are a true boss never unless really low BF! But umm I am started keto 2 weeks ago, and "carbing up" as you call it I do on Sat & Sunday. I make protein cookies for the crab up.

    I don't use any of the sugary stuff, but here is what I use:
    - Blue Berrys
    - Oats
    - Whey
    - Egg Whites
    - Baking Powder & Soda
    - Orange Zest
    - Vanilla Abstract
    - Cinnamon
    - Maybe extra scoop of whey, and a chopped bannana.

    Total calories: 1200 for whole batch, and you can snack on them all day during your carb up if it fits into your macros.

    It depends on how lean you are. If over 15% BF, don't bother. Say 10-15, weekly, under that, bi-weekly.

    Or don't do keto and keep it even simpler.

    I lost a bunch of weight on Keto, but as you'll see I gained a lot of it back due to "life". However I know a thing or two about the diet. You'll wan't to do a two week induction phase where you keep your carbs sub 30g if possible. Then you can carb up once a week after a depletion workout. You're right to swap the macros too. Increase your carbs and keep your fats low. Ideally 20 or lower. I know a lot of people who don't have to carb up once a week. But you should be able to tell in your workouts. Once your muscles get depleted of glycogen your endurance and strength will drop and thats when you know to carb up. But in general I would say once a week. Hope this helps.
