Warmed up to -1C here (yesterday was colder). We've actually had a very mild winter so far. We only got our first accumulation of snow last week.

We're sitting at -7C (Windchill -13C) with snow. I am in the Collingwood Ontario area. I just moved up onto a big hill and the weather here is pretty weird. It's so windy that all we have is sideways snow. The drifts are going to make some wicked snow forts though!

was -26C with wind yesterday, today I think the high is -10C.....I lift in the early AM, so it's always a little colder to me. I'm from Florida......just like 1 week ago I was on a hot sunny beach....wind cuts straight through my hoodie....might have to break out the winter coat.

It's 36F this morning here. It is supposed to get it up to 59F later today though. I'm in Northern Cal and we are pretty bent out of shape about how cold it has been lately. I'm originally from MI so you'd think I'd be used to cold weather. It's crazy how quickly one adapts though.

Currently 43F and drizzling here in South Texas

Where I live it rarely gets cold. We get cold fronts every now and then but they last like a day and the following day will be back at 95F. Here we don't have the typical 4 seasons. We are typically extremely hot the whole year (100F) with bad humidity, and then with a few cold days scattered during December-January. It has been nice to have this so called cold weather here for a few days.

-6C, it's warmed up. It was -20C last month. Normally this time of year it starts dropping closer to -40C.

Sounds a bit like here. My city is known as having 4 seasons in 1 day. I've always wanted to go to Texas! Next time I'm in the US I'm definitely going.
No idea how you all cope with such cold weather. I've been in snow a couple of times in my life (on fun tobogganing trips mind you) and I struggled to cope. Can't imagine functioning on a normal every day basis in it.

Yep 45 degrees, that's 113F for the US folk - ouch! Thank goodness we have a pool because we were melting. The sun is going down so now it's cooling down a bit, still over 30 though.

It's still 39 in Melb With no pool and no AC, we're pretty beat right now! Just waiting for a drop so we can open the doors and get a breeze through the place! So jealous of your pool.

LOL we moved during winter from a place that had AC and are now experiencing the wrath of summer without it! I like the heat so I'm usually not too bothered but being in the high 30s around 10pm is a bit ridiculous!

Seriously, I would die. I would take the freezing cold over that any day. I used to live in Thunder Bay where it is normally between -20 and -40 through the winter. But it was a dry cold, not that nasty damp cold that feels like it melts into your bones. The heat kills me though... My husband says that it's because I am a red-head and the fires of hell burn within me... No soul and all that.
