- A group of football players from a high school in Ohio called "Rape Crew" drug a 15 year old and rape her while she's unconscious at the house if the stupid kid in the video. They also pee on her and take pictures.

- Kids tweet and Instagram pics of the incident.

- Story almost goes unnoticed because of people in the town (some sheriff, football coach, mom of one of the suspects) fear if this story breaks lose the football team which generates a lot of revenue will basically lose everything it has.

- Anyonymous and some blogger chick bring the story to light and gather some info (link on first page/OP). People want some justice.

- I believe the mom of one of the suspects apparently scares the family of the victim to not take the case further because it'll involve them dealing with court for 2 years (I think I remember reading this, someone correct me if I'm wrong).

- People want justice served to these kids but it seems like things are still not right.
The kid in the video apologizes on twitter basically saying what he sari and did was the worst thing in his life.

came to post this, Steubenville is maybe 30-45 mins from me. its a dump of a place that revolves around HS football. it has the culture of a major sports program (sadly, similar to what happened at PSU) where people put the team over this girl.

I have never spent much time there aside from the time I got on the highway while driving back home, I had to go to a Steubenville magistrate to fight the ticket, while waiting to meet with the judge I saw with maybe 2 dozen people, most of which looked like they were there for substance abuse charges. anyone half normal was a someone who was not from the area and there to fight a ticket.
