    Am I doing too much?

    Hello,
I was just wondering if I am training too much. I have a solid diet, lots of calories, no stress and plenty of sleep. Does this look like too much of volume? I am more focused on hypertrophy than strength. I have been working out for 3plus years now. This is my new routine. Thanks for your advice!

Day 1: LEGS (10sets total), SHOULDERS (12sets total)
    Day 2: BACK (12sets), TRIS (10sets)
    Day 3: Off
    Day 4: BIS (10sets), CHEST (12sets)
    Day 5: Off
Day 6: Deadlift (heavy), SHOULDERS (12sets)
    Day 7: Off
    Day 8: Back (10sets), Chest(10sets)
    Day 9: Off
    ----And repeat

-I didnt want to get in too much details - Basicly I want to alternate high/low rep workouts. Shoot for 4-5sets per exercise and 3 ex. per body part. Training a bodypart 6times a month (1.5 a week)

Thanks again, hope thats enough info.

20 total sets for arms, 22 total sets for back in a 9 day cycle...?
Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner.

    ALWAYS PICK 4 CREW

COLD SHOWERS TO INCREASE TEST CREW
Result: Nutsack froze and fell off - no more test

    NO SOAP/TOOTHPASTE/SHAMPOO CREW
Result: 7000% increase in test, bishes think I'm disgusting now

    NO PILLOW CREW
Result: Fuked neck, can't move to utilise test

If you are doing 22 sets each for chest, back and 24 sets for shoulders, you shouldn't need anything significant for bis and tris - 4 sets at the very most. They won't grow in a constant state of fatigue unless you are on dat dere cell tech. 24 sets for shoulders is waaaaaay too much too, considering you are stressing the shoulder girdle with 44 sets already, plus whatever you do for triceps.

Thanks for the input! So if I cut down on arm and shoulder work, would that amount of sets be alright for back and chest?

Thanks again! I feel like I am overtraining even though I eat a LOT and sleep like a baby so Im trying to find the cause of it

I used to train one body part per night over Monday to Friday some time ago, and never made massive progress - I gained size over the course of two years, but very slowly.

    I was doing the following:

    Back - 20 sets
    Chest - 16 sets
    Shoulders - 14 sets
    Legs - 20 sets
    Arms - 12 sets

It was bullchit looking back on it
