    Doing Pull Ups More Frequently

So I'm struggling with improving the amount of pull ups I can do. First set I can usually do 8, second 5, third maybe 3. I think my form is pretty good (straight legs, tight core, activate the lats, no kipping/swinging). Just can't seem to increase the amount I can do. Every other lift I do including lat pull downs, has increased, just struggling with pull ups. I do pull ups to begin my back/bicep day once a week. I'm following a basic PPL routine and I feel as if my diet is on track (strength has gone up in all other lifts, before/after pics show I'm gaining/weight increasing). Do you think I would benefit from getting one of those door frame pull up bars and do pull ups more frequently? Or do you think this would interfere with my routine/over training?

Yes, get a bar like that and do pullups everyday (shoot for high volume but stopping short of failure, incase you start feeling like the pullups are interfering with your pulling in the gym, consider reducing the ammount of volume of either one, whatever is less important for you, and keep going)
