Guys you been very helpful in past. I am looking to get this squat rack and read good reviews. I am going to get the safety arms as well. My question I guess would be is this the best option for someone that has no need for a pull-up bar and someone that won't be squatting real heavy cause of knees cartilage problems? I have a fid bench currently with db and bb. Only thing I need is full rack or squat stands, need under 85" as well. The Rogue one looks to be pretty heavy duty and price isn't to bad either. Thanks for any help.

It's real sturdy? Best non rack out there for price? The safety arms look like they are beasts and stick out pretty far which I like a lot.

It is plenty sturdy. I think Rogue has dropped over 1,000 lbs on the spotters from 6 feet.
However, you are going to lose some stability without the pullup bar connecting the uprights. Rogue recommends against using the dip bars on the SML-1 for that reason.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #53 ▪█─────█▪

the pullup bar can used for things other than pull ups so if youre spending the cash I would consider it at least a little. Band or suspension cable work, that type of thing stuff.

Yet another Rogue rack thread.. I don't believe you can buy the rack on the site without a pullup bar, and yes as Keyboard said, it also functions as a stabilizer for the uprights.
