I was thinking about buying a heavy bag to increase my punching power. I have no desire to box, or anything like that, ( i just want to be able to hit hard) and bodybuilding is my passion. I lift 5 days a week, but think it would be fun to hit the bag to. I would love to have a really powerful punch. Deliver a "one hitter quitter" If need be.
My question is, does anyone have any input on how I can do this without over training? Could i hit on it every night for about 20 minutes without sacrificing my weight lifitng gains? What about 3 nights a week? Maybe on back day and shoulder days? Im just thinking out loud here.
Anyone with any experience with this let me know. I appreciate it.

the only way you will be able to see the true potential of your punching power is if you learn the proper technique you may already have heavy hands but imagine how much more power you will have with proper technique.
