Yeah, one thing I've always hated about BBing pictures. Like are they real? Does he really have veins like that? Is his bodies balance really that well off? So much of this comes from the magazine we've all seen for decades. Every cover is touched up.
Lol they are taking it to extremes. I couldnt find it but i remember recently a pic from muscletech with phil heath and they had shopped his arms. They must have felt that Phils arms were inadaquete.
One of the best threads in ages, these pics are all amazing.
This one of vic richards at 16, he has more muscle than most people ever get in their life time.

TRAINING VERY HARD, NAILING THE DIET, WILL HAVE A NEW AVATAR PIC SOON (in the same blue workout top)
I must be blind today those 2 pics look exactly the same to me. Someone point out where it's chopped.
Maybe Z changed it.
look at his chest and his left arm carefully and you will see something wrong.and why every bodybuilding magazine choppes the pics is beyond me.I remember in one thread someone posted a chopped pic of Big RON from a magazine and the original one.Why would anyone wanna make the GOAT body even more freaky. He was an amalgam of muscle ,a freak of nature for crying out loud
I voted for Platz by the way, mainly because of sympathy which is based on the attitude to bodybuilding that he displayed as well as his freakish legs.

This. I think 80's was the best era, at least going by how the competitors looked. 90's was most entertaining to watch for sure, those posing routines and stages
The '80s is my favorite era in bodybuilding. Many say it is the best era, the peak of modern bodybuilding before Dorian redefined it in the '90s - the era when I was really immersed in bodybuilding.
Lee Labrada is actually both from the '80s and '90s. He reached the peak of fame in 1993.
I like guys like Rich Gaspari, Mike Quinn, Mike Matarazzo.

If Arnold Schwarzenegger is the heart of bodybuilding, Joe Weider is the soul. If Arnold Schwarzenegger is the king of bodybuilding, Joe Weider is the God.
Been into bodybuilding since 1991, non-stop and constant.
I looked 10 years younger for my age the day I turned 33. The pattern remains the same every year. But I want to look 80 like Sean Connery.
I practice science, art, sport and philosophy, therefore, I'm a bodybuilder.

I really can't stand Richards..always thought he was a bit of a knobhead due to acting as if being big while in off season shape somehow made him superior to Dorian, but after seeing him claim that "there was Sergio, me and Zach Khan" I've thought of him as kind of a bad joke..
Shame he never really stepped on stage after becoming a pro.
Yeah, didn't post the Ronnie one because it has been done so many times before. Didn't really want to turn this into the Victor show either, lol. We'll start getting reply's like the one above me..... does he even lift?
If you have seen this show on video. Even Paul D didn't look so big anymore.

Massive for sure, but he looks like a blob..the amount of fat and water he's holding compared with the other two makes a proper comparison between him and Paul/Dorian impossible (no doubt his intention)

It was the off season and that is why Yates looks the same way in his on forum. It was "mass" free for all.... Nice try to come in here and turn this thread into something it's not. It's a picture thread. Next you'll be saying he had a gut like what came with the Yates era into the Ronnie one.
