I am currently 21 years old, 6'3", 13% BF and 180lbs.
I have started lean bulking(+15%) and training 5 days a week ensuring i progressively overload(on PHAT).
I have been eating at ~3500kcals for 3 weeks and have gained 1lb (weighing myself everyday in the morning) so i assume this is my maintenance. I have readjusted it to 4000kcals which represents a +15% surplus.
My question is, if i am hitting 180g of protein at day (at least) do i need to be concerned about my macros at all? in terms of carbs/protein/fats ratio?
I eat the same meals every week and they are comprised of:
Oats and milk - 600kcal
Chicken and rice- 800kcal
Pizza (Pepperoni, BBQ Chicken) - 1500kcal
Oven fish and chips - 800 kcals
Scrambled egg with toast and beans - 1000kcals
Egg and Bacon sandwiches - 1000 kcals
2 Mcdonalds double Cheeseburgers - 900 kcals (every other day)
Mass gainer with 1 litre of full fat milk - 1000kcals (everyday)
Tuna Sandwiches - 800kcal
These are an example of how i meet my daily kcal requirements. Everyday i eat a different mixture so sometimes my macros will be 25/25/50, 30/30/40, 40/20/40 (somedays of mainly processed foods and fast foods, some days of not). Does it matter if i am hitting 1g protein per lb of bodyweight and 0.4lb of fat per lb of bodyweight per day?
