I hardly drink anymore. After 22 I slowed down. Now I only drink a few times a year, and only achieve a buzz, which is more favorable to me than being drunk.

I also have an ulcer now and my doctor advised me to stay away from alcohol which is ok for me. Now I have an excuse to give people when they want me to drink with them

Fair enough, I suppose I might do the same in your case. I certainly have no desire to get drunk though and do it consistently. I have never been to a drinking/house party since I currently go to a CC and all of my friends don't drink around here, but they do outside of this city.

Ive been drunk like once in my life. If you are into the bodybuilding lifestyle you probably have 10x the willpower of anyone else. You can trust yourself to have a couple drinks now and again and not go full retard. Like i said I never buy alcohol at a store or something. But if a girl asks you out to a bar, you are gonna look like a complete ******* ordering water while shes drinking.. Like I said it takes like 7-8 beers before i feel ANYTHING, so its just like drinking a ****ty tasting soft drink until that point for me.. I have 0 desire to get drunk either

Used to drink a ton until I was 22. Did something dumb when I was drunk and almost died. I learned my lesson and called it quits. My friends actually talked me into drinking this thanksgiving and I woke up early morning puking my brains out. Terrible.. terrible hangover. It will be a few years before I do it again.

Being drunk is awesome, just depends on the environment and the people you're with. I'm usually always the life of the party, but i'm not against the idea of being sober. I go through periods without having a drink, but so many people are missing out on some of their golden ages by trying to be so different, and being so uptight. IMO eveyone should try everything once.

I honestly haven't been "drunk" since I was 18, I hate the feeling of "drunk" but I enjoy a nice tasting whiskey on the rocks. Generally (and like this New Years) ill sip a glass or 2 tops of whiskey on the rocks over a 3 hour span (probably equates to 3 shots) for a 200 pound guy, it just takes the edge off/enjoying the taste. That's about it for me. I think getting "drunk" or hammered is stupid

I used to drink until 2 years ago when I was in a car accident and got hit by a drunk driver. Spent time in the hospital and my partner and I were pretty close to not making it. Pretty bad experience and changed my outlook on alcohol.

hooked up with one too many whales a few years ago i drank much more before i was 21, i cant remember any really good decisions i made while drunk but i can remember plenty of ****ing stupid mistakes i made, ****s not worth it
