my face's skin tone is completely f*cked - nose and cheeks are MUCH darker than forehead and stache area.
would going to a tanning bed once fix this?

no it may only make it worse.
seriously try mixing some lemon juice and water... use it as an astringent once or twice a day, leave it on for 10-15 mins, then rinse away.
Lemon juice is a good skin lightener and will help your complexion. Once you get more comfortable with the lemon juice you can slowly use less water, as well as leave it on longer. When you stop striving for perfection, you might as well be dead.

Google spas or estheticians in your area, look for ones who specialize in skin care and have plenty of good reviews.
They will be able to help you with a long term plan to improve your skin. I always did a spray tan because my skin was blotchy and usually broken out. Started going to a lady here in Portland and two products keep my skin clean and improved it over time. I did a few microdermabrasions to help the process along.
Would avoid tanning beds, they are just a band aid but they ruin your skin over time.** Eternal Jimmies Crew **
