    Which shoes for me?

I need shoes that are good to run in and have good arch support. I have flexible flat feet and have been through numerous sprained ankles. I had to quit boxing due to training with 2 sprained ankles after a period of time.

Go to a store that specializes in running. Any store worth their salt will test you out, and have you run on the treadmill. This way they can evaluate your step/gait and find the right pair for you.

IMHO start running in vibrams or other type of five finger shoes. Start off slowly, 1-2 h a day walking. It should fix your problem as it targets the root cause (weak muscles). Besides you'll stop landing heel first and start landing on the balls of your feet instead.
After I used vibrams for 1st week, everything below the knee level was pretty sore.
Or you could just get some sort of shoes. Upto you.

Anyone know good brands to look for? I'll be buying my shoes online. I know what I need in the shoe but I don't know which brands.
