    Advice Please

    Hey I've been working out nearly 5 months, I was deathly skinny with no muscle at all (still don't have that much) but just wondering do you think if I cut i would be a little more defined or is there anything there at all ?
    I've been doing SS and 300 calories over maintenance, lifts have gone up and have gained about 18lbs in nearly 5 months which some is fat/water (I'll try upload an old pic later if it helps) always had a little belly fat from sitting round all day but extremely skinny everywhere else so my question is I always kinda liked the lean/muscular look and do you think if I cut I could achieve even a little more definition ? Sorry for poor quality pics but I hope It'll give an idea, Thanks guys

    I'm skinny too, and I would say still bulk. All you'll lose is fat and you'll look smaller because what's making you look big currently is fat and muscle. Bulk gain more mass along with the fat you'll probably gain, than cut.

    Thanks for advice man, wanna be cut for holidays next year in June so might continue bulking till march and start cutting then

    Another vote for the clean bulk. Also consider upping your cardio a bit just to keep the belly fat at bay. Good luck dude!

    Also, why would I up my cardio a bit ? (apart from health reasons obviously) but seeing as you can't spot reduce on belly fat I think it would be more beneficial to just cut after a couple of months and leave cardio for now

    1st: Just another vote for clean bulk. You need a lot more mass to look good when you get to a lower BF!

    2nd: You should up your cardio cause you can reduce your fat gain to a minimum while you bulk. Try out HIIT as cardio 2 or 3 times a week.
