Join me while I go for a 5 month cut (critique if possible)
Hello all,
I've decided after much thought that I'm going to cut. Many people recommended that I bulk because it looks like I don't have much muscle under all my fat. What most people don't know is I been lifting for awhile and I'm pretty sure have enough muscle under there to go for my first cut at least. I want to enjoy my summer ripped or close to it , not as a fat ass. I'm going to still train hard these next 5 months and I'm going to try IF. I will post pics every week or so. BF% estimate if possible? I'm trying to go for 10% bf or below. Also I'm not sure if my abs are developed enough but ill be training them hard for the next 5 months I think my strong points are my traps and quads maybe? Thanks for any input critique and support.

sweet support and joining me awesome. Well about 3 to 4 months will be ideal for me. I'm starting today as well. I will post updates and pics every week or so. Anyone who posts is welcome to post update pics as well Lets go at it hard!
well I'm going for about 1 Pound to 2 pounds a week
I currently weigh 162. I will be consuming 1600 calories a day. 1pound of protein per bodyweight. I workout about 4 to 5 times a week. abs 3 times a week. Im gonna throw some cardio in there as well. My goal weight is around 145 if possible. I wanna see what Im working with under all this fat I know some are gonna say that Im gonna lose muscle but I had alot of old muscle under this fat so I should be fine. Im gonna lift hard and eat clean and see where it gets me. Also Im gonna have a 8hr eating window, Probably adjust it to 4 if I;m not seeing enough results. *Update*
its been like a week. So here we are so far. I lost 2 pounds. I'm at 160.6 so far If my pics end up getting erased can someone tell me why. Thanks. Also like i said before anyone is open to post
Make sure u bulk like fuark after you cut otherwise your just gonna be mega skinny,.
Thanks bud I plan on it. Once i get to about 10% I'm a go on a slow bulk this august till the end of next march for about 8months. But that's for another thread. Any way any one else wanna join us ? your more than welcome too
The only problem I potentially see is that when you get to your low weight, your abs will not be popping out because of the lack of muscle mass. Not sure about this, I may be wrong. Otherwise good luck on your cut, hopefully you get where you want to be and start slow bulking asap.

Yea I understand. But I'm lifting just as heavy as before. My bench went from 130 to 175 in the last 3 weeks. I'm getting a hell a lot stronger and I'm pretty sure by the end of the cut I will get a decent amount of noob gains in there as well. Im taking a gram of protein per body weight. I'm increasing weight every week or so. I feel like all this fat is not doing me any justice. we will just have to see.
Also Im doing weighted ab excersies. I think about 5 months of that should build atleast a little bit of muscle when the cut ends
wow I havent updated in a while. Im sorry I been busy and going through alot of personal stuff these past few months...
Anyways Im still going for this 5 month cut. Im actually trying to cut down hardcore for the end of this month cause Im going on vacation for a little at a water resort. Then Im a hit it hard when I get back . I am actually currently 163 pounds but I feel like I cut a little fat. You be the judge:

Been a good journey so far. Was hoping for better results but I still got a good 2 months to drop the weight before summer. Cant wait to get down to a low body fat then going on a slow bulk for the fall Thanks guys so far for your support. Also Im taking a pic every day since the last week of FEBUARY. I thought itll be fun to see the fat just melt away as I get leaner. Will keep you guys updated.
