The issue with the powertec range is that you start from full stretch which I felt (when I owned the WB-LMP) uncomfortable.

I'm sure a rack is great, I have the powertec wbls and love it. I wouldn't change a thing. Definitely see if you can try it before you buy. I tried a rack and the wbls and went with the powertec. Both my wife and I use it comfortably, I'm 5'11" and she is 5'2". The rack was a bit intimidating for her so I chose this and do not regret it one bit.
