Thursday Night Updates!!! As promised, I took 3 scoops of Origin tonight and beat Medal of Honor on the difficult setting. I hardly ever play xbox, but occasionally Ill go on a short binge. I beat it in three days of casual playing. It was a cool game but it way to short and way to easy. Could it be the Origin that supplied oober amounts of focus and alertness that made me have precision killshots, and spot on grenade throws? Sure! But the game didnt provide as much of a challenge as I hoped.

Notes: Three scoops of Origin 45 minutes preWO (yes, the training came before the XBox lol). Tonight was a trying workout - I wasnt really crazy about going in tonight. My knee was pretty sore and stiff today from the cold, I believe. Whenever we're going to get any type of rain/snow or extreme cold, my knees become 130 year old knees. But I expected this and dosed the sh!t out of my cissus powder yesterday and today. It helped some, but tonight was rough. Once I was really warmed up it was game on. The significant effects of Origin were experienced during the squats. Over the summer I was doing StrongLifts 5x5 training program. I had progressed up to 285# for 5x5. So tonight hitting 275 for a pathetic 3 was quite humbling as to how quickly gains can disappear. I had bought some knee wraps from Elite FTS with the anticipation of needing them for some max weight lifting. I havent really used them yet so for some reason, I got the urge cast up and waddle to the bar and try them out! It took me a few trys to get a decent wrap, but once I broke a mean sweat wrapping, I finally got a good crisscross pattern wrap. I was pleasantly surprised how much these helped. I knew they would help some, but I had no idea how much they really help. My set of 3 @275 was pretty close to failure. After wrapping, I hit 7 @ 275 and it was certainly not to failure. Id estimate I had another 4 or so in the tank, but the wraps are only really good for one or two reps before they start moving a bit. After having done these squats, I normally would have been toasted. I was actually really looking forward to smashing some more weight. Tonight the mind-muscle connection was epic. I know Ive mentioned this a lot and thats because with Origin, its really incomparable to anything else. Ive been noticing the calming effects as well. I dont have any anxiety or wound up feelings, but Im full of focus and clean enjoyable energy. Nights Ive slept like crap, or not enough, I can take Origin mid morning and Im golden the rest of the workday. It provides a feeling of being fully rested and recooped. Origin seriously should not be assumed to be just a PWO, but a very versatile energy/mental focus supplement that can be take advantage of in numerous situations. Whether its playing video games, training, working a desk job, playing sports, or driving like a SOB down I-91 to get your girlfriend to the hospital to see her Grandfather, Origin won't let you down! All those situations are ones Ive taken Origin before doing. All those situations have honestly been improved because of it.
One thing Id like to touch on is the flavor. Ive noticed that with a fixed amount of water, the flavor doesnt seem to change whether its one scoop or three. I like this because with other pres, one scoop is watered down, two is right on, three is punch in the mouth. The versatility or Origin is unparalleled.
The pumps from Origin arent what some people are looking for, but thats actually a positive. You can take a great PWO and use your favorite pump products to find the right amount of pump for you. Increase the pump some days, tone it down other days. The citrulline in Origin is dosed perfectly IMHO. Its a great pump that doesnt blow you up. Its enough where you can still add some agmatine powder if you wish. When Im feeling extra crazy, Ill go 2 scoops Origin + 1 scoop Hemavol + 1 cap SlinSane + ~60g carbs. That, is some psychotic sh!t right there. Its crippling actually.
Well thats it for now. There will more to come. Tomorrow is a rest day, probably going to go do some abs/cardio/stretching/foam rolling/eating tomorrow. Active restScivation/PrimaForce Representative

Ladies and Gentlemen! First day back in the gym today! Gonna smash some weights after work! Yesterday was my first day back to 100% After my illness subsided I decided to take a day or so to lay low and get some fresh air before getting back in to it.
Im also thinking that it may be time to change up my training routine some, for the psychological benefit. Ive been getting kind of bored lately with this PHAT routine so I may go with a push/pull/legs. Or try something new and go upper/lower/upper/OFF/lower/upper/lower/OFF. I really dont like scheduling off days. I prefer to listen to my body and take a rest day or two as needed. Theres been times that Ive gone 8, 9, 10 days training without a rest day and I feel great. I believe that its truly more difficult to become "overtrained" than most people think. If your sleeping enough and your diet is on point that is. That being said, with Protocol, and Origin, I know Ive been recovering faster from workouts than my norm. Ive hit morning workouts and was ready for evening training the same day.
I cant wait mix up my Origin today and see what happens. Today will be the first day of the new training routine.Scivation/PrimaForce Representative

Thanks Sarah I always try to listen to my body as to dictate how my training needs to be set up in terms of volume vs intesity vs frequency. Ive noticed better progress toward my goals when I do that rather than religiously stick to a set schedule of training days and off days. My theory, and Im not saying Im right or that other people will benefit but its always worked me, is that you feel good mentally and physically, than what good is it to not exercise. Im saying go in a hit the weights hard when you just went 3 or 4 days of heavy training. But instead of a day off I like to go in a do some light cardio and accessory work. Im a big fan of weak point training as well.

I decided Id go with the push/pull/legs split. I feel that with my work schedule and all else going on in my life, that betters suits me than an upper/lower split.
I went with three generous scoops of Origin tonight and was a litte bummed because I noticed I have maybe a week left of three scoop doses. Maybe not even that.
Three scoops really hit me hard tonight, but in a good way. Once I got to the gym all I wanted to do was lift, and lift lots. It was literally one exercise right to the next. I wasnt only very focused on the set, but I knew exactly what exercises I was going to do and in what order. I went in to each set with 110% and left nothing in the tank when I was finished with my 4-5 sets.
A little break down of what I did tonight:
Incline Bench Press:
135x15
185x12
205x10
205x9
drop 135x20
Cybex machine chest press (hammer strength was taken)
130x15
150x12
150x11
170x8
135x12
.......I really hate Cybex machines. And dont even get me started on Precor... my Golds decided it was a good idea to get rid of a perfectly good batch of HS machines and replace them with Precor which feel horrible. Awful. The shoulder press actually has you pushing up at a forward angle.
Pushups
3 sets to failure
Seated Military Press
95x15
115x12
115x10
115x10
135x8
Cybex (ugh!) Lat Raise: (performed one arm at a time)
90x12
90x12
90x11
90x9
One Arm Rear Delt Cable Extensions: whatever theyd be called...
45x10
50x9
50x8
40x10
Tricep Pushdowns (rope):
120x15
130x14
150x12 superset with low TRX band skullcrushers to failure
150x9 superset with low TRX band skullcrushers to failure
Reverse grip tricep cable Ext.
50x9
50x9
50x8
Definitely brought my A-game tonight! I was very pleased with the workout and I think the change in split was what I needed. The pumps were pretty good, nothing crazy just enough to notice which is good. Vascularity has been increased since beginning this log as well so between that and the pumps, the blood flow is definitely increase. Thank you citrulline. I still cant get over the mind muscle connection. When training, my muscle contractions just feel better. I can actually focus on the muscle flexing rather than the weight lifting. For example, leg extensions, which is where I notice it the most. Its much easier for me to focus on the contraction of my quad, rather than the lower half of my leg lifting the weight, which has also helped a little bit in easing the sharp pain in my knee.
Thats it for tonight. Goodnight world.Scivation/PrimaForce Representative

Two updates to come. Thursday was a push day and the I trained with Jeff on Friday and did chest/back. Surprisingly my back was ready for a legit workout. Just lends to increased recovery I've experienced. Rowed 315 both days which felt pretty good.
On a side note, I think I'm going to order a DonJoy cross strap for my knee to see if that helps. I also need to foam roll and stretch more to loosen my IT band.
Will work on getting those 2 updates up over the weekend.Scivation/PrimaForce Representative

This sort of feed back is awesome, can't wait to see how Origin does once it hits BB.com super store. You hit a lot of key points and if I didn't know any better I'd say you saw the discussions the R&D had over designing the pre workout lol. Hopefully once more people try it they'll see that, despite the simplicity of the formula, it's a very unique product.

I'm pretty sure Origin will do just fine in the bb.com store. Genomyx has made an impressive name for themselves making quality products with very useful ingredients, and when u buy a product, you know exactly what youre getting. Honestly, its a company I would proud to be part of, and the products are ones I've been more than willing to purchase time and time again.
And for the record, I didn't see any R&D discussions, despite being friends with Mike, I've always been able to remain unbiased.Scivation/PrimaForce Representative

Got three updates for you guys. Im going to combine them in to one post though.
Not going to post the workouts as my pull/chest back/legs days that Im posting about, were a little more low key for me. I was letting my joints take a break from the balls to the wall training. If you look at my post for my push day, thats how my pull and leg days were set up with similar volume and sets/reps.
The Origin was a huge help these past few days because typically when I switch up a workout, I spend the first few days kinda goin through the motions figurin out the flow of things with the new workout, which exerices feel right together, weights, volume, etc. For the first time I think, I was able to get in, and from the first set I was training with high intensity and keeping the rest periods to a min. Not only was I focused on the task at hand, but I was focused on the workout as a whole and didnt poke around figuring things out. I also had a great burn goin on and sweat like a feind. Probably a shock going to a 20-30 second break between sets. The Origin definitely helped me keep the rest periods down which I really noticed as even when I try to keep the rest periods around 30 seconds, it never ends up happening. The past few days have been consistent in terms of energy, focus and endurance. It was an epic feeling being about to lift the same weights, but with shorter rests between sets. Origin will without a doubt be included in my cut to help keep the endurance and muscle tone up.
Today was a day off, tomorrow is a push day. What better day than a push day to have for the final three scoops of Origin! Ill have my review for that coming hopefully tomorrow night as long as I dont get more sh!t to bring home from work!... fukkin auditors lol. This week Ill be working on a final review as well which Im really looking forward to writing up. This has been my favorite log thus far, sponsored or unsponsored.
Mike - I think I liked my time using Origin a little better than when I logged Supremacy, and you know how I feel about Supremacy.Scivation/PrimaForce Representative
