Shoulder Popped Out of place during DB Shoulder Press

Earlier today I was doing DB Shoulder Press as part of the Shortcut to Size program I'm doing. I did the 2 warm-up sets of 12-15 reps like Dr. Stoppani said to do before getting into the exercise. I'm on day 67, so my rep range is 9 to 11. I did my first set with 55lb dbs; 11 reps, no problem. Then my friend did his first set and I spotted him. Moving on to my 2nd set I picked up 60lb dbs, kicked them up to my shoulders and did the first rep. I start my second rep, get the db a little bit above my head and my left shoulder popped out of place. My spotter was really caught off guard by that and he awkwardly helped me get rid of the weight. I got up and went into the bathroom really quick and popped it back into place and didn't do any more shoulder exercise for the day. Now, it's hurting pretty dang bad. I've never had something pop out of place before so I'm wondering if this is something that's common with the exercise, or is this something that I'll need to go to a sports medicine clinic for?

I did almost the exact same thing back in August - as a resul I required an operation to repair my labrum (cartilidge on the joint) - if I were you then I'd try to get an MRI scan done which is really the only way to know exactly what's going on inside!

dont always need operation for this at all but lay off the weights and will 100% need to see a specialist

Maybe don't need to have an op but probably will need to have an MRI if its causing problems!
