I went on a bodyfat calculator ,like kind of a weighing scales and got 9% body fat .. Thought to have one i'd need to be down at about 5-6% ?
Is the scales wrong?

This is always been a big myth that you have to be a certain bf% to have your abs show. It does require more effort for the lower ones to show but it's not based on a certain number.

as already said here, an 8 pack is not linked to a certain number of BF
Many factors influence this... genetics, water, thickness of muscle etc... you cannot state the percentage needed
Plus I do not trust these automatic scales.. They have funny numbers at times
Use a caliper or do a test at a doctor, but the caliper option should work finePlease get friends with me on BodySpace / Follow my transformation

what the hell? You just said you thought you'd have to be 5 or 6% and asked if the scale is wrong... Now you're saying the scale is right and you're actually 8 or 9%?
Anyway body fat% is irrelevant, you're obviously well into the single digits. So if that's what you're looking for people to tell you, good job!watdo I do in this dilemma?
