On Christmas Eve I had a few Gin and Tonics and some Glenfiddich whisky to celebrate the holidays with him, drank slow enough so that I didn't get drunk. They both tasted good and I drank for the taste and the social bonding that happens when two men share a good whisky.

Then I went out and got absolutely hammered with the wife and her friends and I would've drank paint stripper. I drank to get drunk and be merry.

There are people who drink to get drunk and there are people who drink for the taste.
I do both.

On Christmas day me and my uncle had some Cumbrian beer by Jennings (a beer local to our area). Tasted fuarking awesome too.
