Before everyone jumps on you for not doing this, play around with the search feature. This topic comes up....a lot.
Also, the stickies are a great resource.
That being said, horse stall mats from tractor supply (or similar store) is you're best bet."Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard"

Drive.
These aren't even in the same ballpark as stall mats. These will be scared by any dopred weight, compressed by equipment sitting on them and they could even be chewed up by a toothless poodle.
This pack covers roughly the same area as three stall mats but costs at least $50 more (plus shipping). At the same time as they cost more, look at the supping weight this package weighs 5 pounds. Each stall mat weighs 80 pounds that tells you the difference right there, at 1/50th the density these just aren't even worth considering.[]---[] Equipment Crew Member No. 11

The smell goes away....and some say they have picked some mats up that didn't smell at all.
Those puzzle mats are 3/8" thick and really are not going to hold up to much abuse (that lifting weights will produce).
And don't take this wrong...but unless you just drag the crap out of your feet you're not going to trip over any seams.
The price and durability difference between the two choices will be worth the drive. Just make sure you have something to bring them home in because you're not going to roll the horse stall mats up and put them in your back seat (very gracefully, anyways)."Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard"

Yeah, rolling them up is the best way to move them "long distances" (like more than a foot or two).
Once they're rolled up, they move fairly easy.
Lucky man. I only have two currently, and both have smelled....but it goes away relatively quickly.
I normally let them sit outside for a day or two to let them "air out". Even so, it's not like a toxic smell. Just smells like a tire store...lol."Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard"

horse stall mats are one of the best you can buy for flooring. purchased some of these and they are absolutely great. tractor supply ftw. make sure you have access to a truck these are big.

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

stall mats bought locally = best imo. other excellent option and best combo of shipping and price i've seen is rubbercal via their site or their sales on amazon.
