Not really sure what you mean, as the body can only process a certain amount of protein at a time. But, as has been mentioned, just be sure you're getting enough for growth, with a little bit extra for insurance. What's not used to build muscle tissue is converted into fuel, or passed on as waste.
Good luck with your goals!

or stored as bodyfat if you have excessive cals.
But I do believe the OP is asking how to maximize protein synthesis naturally and that can be done be supplementing with the amino acid leucine.

The amount that can processed is different for everyone and varies according to need...just to make everything more confusing.
I do know a good supp to make amino acids more available for protein synthesis from whole-protein sources, though. HCL with Pepsin helps break down whole proteins in the gut. Hard to tell if you need it without taking it, though...luckily it's pretty cheap as supplements go.

You are 6 feet tall and weigh 150lbs. You should be eating right now, and not posting. And when you're done eating, eat again. Last thing you need to be concerned with atm is synthesizing protein.

at your height and weight I would say look into your amount of protein intake, throughout the day not just your after workout shake.. also sleep! as much as you can at night..
Some things I do..
Whey Shakes during the day
cassein right before bed
BCAA's
and if your not a good high quality protein shake after your workout ( I mix mine up in the car as I pull out of the gym and drink it driving home)

Consume at least a gram of protein per pound of body weight, eat in a surplus, lift heavy.

Make sure you hit the anabolic window every day and eat every 2 hours so you don't go catabolic
