I recently have began my bodybuilding journey and i've found that i don't have the stomach volume yet to consume a full meal of protein w/ complex carbs every 2-3 hours so i have began making smoothies using mainly
milk
whey protein
fruit
peanut butter
greek yogurt
oatmeal
flaxseeds
Does anyone else do this? Or have any other different recipes? Also, will shakes suffice or do i need a solid "Brown rice/chicken and broccoli type meal?"

My favorite
16 oz. Almond milk (unsweetened)
1 cup FFGY
1 scoop chocolate whey
2 tbs. ground flaxseed
1 banana
Ice
Then stir in fresh blue berries and black berries
Shakes will work however most people prefer actually eating whole foods... I only use shakes if I'm in a rush and need calories on the go ... EasyBEAST mode All Day Everyday

Mine is something like this
1 banana
1 serving of oatmeal
1 scoop of whey protein
1/2 serving of fruit yogurt
and anything else i feel like that will fill my calorie needs and tastes good!

Skim Milk
Frozen Banana (must be frozen...makes the shake really thick and frothy once blended)
Scoop of Protein (choc or banana flavour is my fav)
Peanut Butter

I recently got given a juicer as a present and I'm playing around with it...I throw in the fruit I want (Mt fav are apple, banana, watermelon, blueberries, and some avocado for some fat). I make a fruit smoothie and add a scoop or two of choc protein to have a high protein choc smoothie. Milk is also good for thickness.

I used to do the following
2 Scoops Dymatize Elite Gourmet Vanilla
1 Cup Frozen Berry Medley
8oz Almond milk unsweetened
6oz Plain Greek Yogurt
Came out to 450 cals 34g carbs 7g fat 61g protein and tastes good, theres really no need for flavored yogurt or regular milk the milk and yogurt are more for texture then anything while the greek yogurt adds more protein obviously, The fruit and protein powder add enough flavor to make it good.Maxes-
