see here's the thing
I had two sons and one husband
two bathrooms
so 3/4 time when they went in to go wee wee they left the seat down
and let er fly...thus spraying the seat
then as if an after thought for mom
they lifted the seat ....ahem
now the piddle is pooling on the back of the pottie
and running down the sides to end of on the floor....sigh



this mama would much rather the seat was in the upright position
then go to sit down only to get a wet hinnie

Because according to women working against gravity (putting seat up) is easier than letting gravity do the work (putting seat down).

It's not something that ever bothers me. I check it as I enter the room.

My son always puts the seat and the lid down. He says the germs spray up to 6 feet when the toilet flushes, so the lid is always down in his bathroom. And I have to admit, the toilet looks better with the lid closed.
