Hello, i just wanted to know some exercises for reducing bf%. I know that cardio exercises like treadmill and bike are pretty good, but is there anything better or as equally effective? Also i have a little bit of body fat in my lower stomach which is extremely annoying to remove, and I'm about to start cutting in a couple of weeks for the first time... Any advice for that? Thanks in advance!!

Trying to cut fat w/ deficit knowledge is much harder than cutting fat w/ deficit nutrition. Some points on Cals/Cardio: http://www.simplyshredded.com/nutrit...edded-com.html
Learn first how to make your diet work for you, in terms of caloric deficit. After that, if you need to throw cardio into the equation then do so. You'll have much better control -- people often jump on a treadmill, don't lose fat, and wonder why. Your post indicates you still need to come to grips with how calories and cardio work.Last edited by Joe2DovesGiotto; 12-24-2012 at 08:38 PM.

Yes, it's called exercising self-restraint and eating boring and bland high protein, low-fat, low carb food consistently. Diet is the biggie.

I agree 100%. The morning cardio seems to get quick results though. Having caffiene (and maybe ephedrine) prior to a workout, in a semi-fasted state enhances the amount of fat burned, I believe. Or at least that's what I've experienced.
Bikram yoga is phenomenal for burning fat overall, and losing annoying water weight."I saw that my life was a vast glowing empty page and I could do anything I wanted."

it's coincidence. you can do cardio right after dinner, if you can manage, as long as you're in a caloric deficit you will lose fat.
this means fork put downs are the best exercise for losing fat.
there is no supplement or magic pill/tea/extract/etc that burns fat for you....you simply have to eat less than you burn on a consistent basis. lots of 'fat burners' or caffeinated supps will reduce your hunger big time, which in turn causes you to eat less, and therefor burn fat. but as you can see, this is attributed to your diet, not some magic pill.
correlation =/= causation. do fasted cardio and take those 'fat burners' while eating 4000 cals a day, can guarantee any normal person out there will still gain weight or at least not lose an ounce of fat.Powerlifter convert. Follow on instagram Sharpie_bendingbarbells

Eating less kcal than you burn will make you lose weight (fat or muscle).
Hiit burns a lot of kcal, and makes the weight you lose (if any) more likely to be fat (via increases in igf-1).
Lifting weights, increases hgh and testosterone, also causing the body to prefer to lose fat over muscle.
Combine the three but recognize that the actuall poundage on the scale=kcal balance.
bodyfat vs muscle = macronutrient ratios, lifting, and conditioning

As you have bin told many times, your diet is very important.
In regards to cardio exercises, Skipping, once you can do one foot skipping it becomes more enjoyable and burns more fat then running (works the arms allot).
Is there any physically challenging sports you enjoy? personally I play basketball for 5 hours strait at times since its so fun and it really good workout, especially playing full court.
