I REP BACK.
Everyone at BB constantly preaches meal timing is irrelevant. Then they religiously take a whey shake post-workout just to prove it.
Ketosis: Because initiating lipolysis during a cut is obviously a terrible thing.
Primal eating: Because cutting out processed foods is obviously a terrible thing.

God, what a nice gym session today. Broke my PR on squats which I did 170 lbs for 5 reps, that's probably not a lot to most people but as I've said in a different post, when I was first allowed to lift again in late november after a spine injury I was only doing body weight squats, so I'm really happy about that. Also deadlifted 200 lbs, for all of my 3 sets, which is also another new PR. These numbers probably seem puny to most people on here, but it's a huge motivator for me. I'm STOKED.
Still keeping my fingers crossed I lost weight on the scale this week.- Dave

Currently training for the Mercedes Benz Cotton Row 10k race. It is on Memorial day. It will be the first 10k race I have done. I've been practicing and my times have been between 58min-1hr3mins. I know I can do better. But I have been running on semi hilly country roads. But on the course halfway thru there is a 1100ft incline up the side of a mtn,I figure this gonna be a killer.

Woo I'm feeling somewhat better at last, I think I'll try hitting the gym again on monday or tuesday this week. Hopefully the weight I've lost from being ill will give me a slight boost on the treadmill or something. By **** I am hungry though, the munchies from the past week have caught up with me. Will.. Resist..
81lbs down, 36 to go.

I don't wanna detour anymore. I started this game 4 years ago and I'm gonna finish it now. Guaranteed.
But this day has been (and will be for 2-3 more hours) a fasting day and it's almost funny how cold I feel . I haven't stepped on the scale whole week so I'm pretty excited for tomorrow and for next week and for the weeks to come.Pokemon X and Y crew FC: 5215-0470-3034 (X)

Fell of the wagon last night and had chinese take out, General Tso Chicken. Tasted good, Felt Horrible. Got up this morning and hit the gym hard again. First time ever did 60 min on the treadmill. 2.0-2.2mph pace with an incline between 10 and 14 the whole time. Got the gym motivation back. Felt good. Here's to dropping a little more by tomorrow. Gotta stay in the top 3, ya know. :-D

I had lost 8 pounds in the first 2 days of this week due to illness but after barely eating for three days I decided to eat quite a bit and drink a fair few powerades to sort myself out. Didn't think actual starvation was a healthy way to progress with the competition Thus I probably won't be under 400 but hopefully have managed 4 or 5 pounds despite the turmoil this week and the complete lack of workouts.
