Here I go trying to simplify things, and I just make it worse.
If you're already on the spreadsheet, you're golden. We weigh in every Sunday, with 1/6 being the first weigh in.
The dates between 29-31 are to get into the contest. (so basically, if you submitted on the 29th, you're next weigh-in is on the 6th, not 1st).

Yup! Exactly what I was thinking. I started out a comp a few years ago as one of the top few heaviest, two of the guys who weighed more blew past me when things started rolling lol. I was happy for them but pissed all at once!

I'm kicking things off with an all day fast tomorrow and just steak tuesday to enter ketosis.
Anyone care to discuss methods for their planned weight loss? I'm going to use ketosis and intermittent fasting, seems to be most effective for me.Yes I know I am fat and weak. I'm working on it.

Everyone at BB constantly preaches meal timing is irrelevant. Then they religiously take a whey shake post-workout just to prove it.
Ketosis: Because initiating lipolysis during a cut is obviously a terrible thing.
Primal eating: Because cutting out processed foods is obviously a terrible thing.

It's my own fault I'm here - time to do something about it.
Friends have been telling me they think I have an alcohol problem as well (I don't, but do like a drink) so I think I may go for an alcohol free January.
I think I can rely on the coffee to keep me alive.

I'm absolutely terrified of the fact that I die someday (I know it's stupid and I know I'm not a kid anymore.. well besides the username) and it sometimes upsets a lot and I've found that a walk around the town cheers me up, since I remember that I should be enjoying this rather than worrying about possible outcomes of live.

How I plan to lose the last of these 20 lbs? Eat at a calorie deficit, bust my ass in the gym and use IF.
The only reason I use IF is because I'm usually up late so this helps turn my late night Extra snacking into part of my daily "planned" calorie intake...
After the new years party tonight I'm cutting all alcohol until I'm done this cut...
My weight loss journey from June 11th to Dec 31st was pretty successful. I went from 240 to 202. Could've done better if I wasn't drinking so heavily and drunk ordering things like 3 mcgriddles and 3 hash browns/ trying to order big macs at Wendy's etc.
Good luck everybody. Stay motivated.
Edit: I also suggest people use a program like myfitnesspal. There's no way to know your eating at a calorie deficit unless your tracking what you eat

I'm going the keto route too...weight falls off like nothing and it keeps me from indulging in junk. Whenever I allow too many carbs on a 'diet', I end up seeing how I can fit pizza and ice cream into my macros lol.
I believe he uses a program to manage everything more efficiently....imagine it'd be tedious to manually categorize and track 70+ people.
If you copy and paste how he said to post and fill in the blanks, you can't go wrong.

Starting over again after letting myself get back into bad habits. Not making any huge resolutions as those just seem to get in the way anyways-just planning on setting a caloric value to hit each day, get some excersize in weekly and see how it works. Not even cutting alcohol out as I enjoy that once a week, although I will cut back on bad foods, get a set eating schedule and use portion control.
