Glad to see everyone who is here regardless of whether they saw progress or not. Good work guys!
Wonder what the count will be after today, I sincerely hope we destroy all the previous drop out records by retaining everyone.
2lbs more down and a whole lot more motivated and stronger which feels really good.
It's been an interesting week, stayed mostly in the 1,200/day cal range except the first day was high, got workouts in but was down a few days to some mystery lower abdominal pain that went from back to front. OMG it was painful. Begged my son to grab an ibuprofen and waited it out. If it came back I was going to the hosp but it has to get really bad before I'll go and sit in emerg waiting for 4-7 hours.
Loving MFP and all the good people there, thank you to whoever brought it up.Goals:

The scale is going in the right direction for me this week. I've had a crazy week and only worked out twice, so 1 pound is fine. I'm trying very hard not to think of this as a diet. I'm adding more healthy food (bought myself a Nutribullet) and the plan is for the healthy stuff to overtake the junk. I have been an extreme dieter in the past, several times, and it's devastating to watch the fat pile right back on. So, I'm not depriving myself of *all* the junk right now.

Down to 167.1 from 172.6 last week. Have had the strictiest diet I've ever done and been workingout rediculously. Its amazing to me how much one's diet affects the body. Since I have been eating healthy I have been dropping weight, feeling not bloated at all,lot more energy, and sleeping better!

I've lost 13 pounds since the start of the competition. But, I was on vacation right before the 1st, so I think around 5 pounds was just water weight/excess food in my body. I've been lifting really hard, so I'm sure I've gained some muscle. The loss of weight is making my face/shoulders/arms/back more defined. Stomach is still being stubburn. My legs are getting more defined as well.
I am not eating as frequently as the program calls for - he recommends eating 5-6 meals a day. I'm eating three meals a day IIFYM. (same foods as program though).

Hehe, I hit my first plateau this week, since I had been dieting for a few months before this comp, I've already lost the water weight. 167 this week from 168 last week. Using all pros beginners routine, and doing HIIT 2x/week. I can't to break back out of this stalwart and shred some more. Taking the weekend off this week for the first time, I feel awful not exercising, but I know it's important to give the body rest.
Stay positive! Good luck all!October 26, 2012 - 292lbs

I think this is a perfectly perfect goal Allingham and loose skin is a concern for many. There are many men over 200 that are in amazing shape. Of course it depends on height but it's still good to have a goal that is not as huge as mount everest. You set a goal that is realistic, reachable AND one your happy with when looking down from where you are, your work towards it and then you re-evalute. Quite frankly at 315 lbs, 220 looked good to me. Now as I approach it, 190 is where I want to go next. Who knows. But at some point the number will mean less and the physique I want will mean more.
Btw there is a thread somewhere here on loose skin, i saw a couple of women who had reached goal and although they didn't really lose much more weight, the loose skin became less and less. The consensus is moisturize, moisturize and muisterize some more.
People peg this guy at 240-260, ok sure he's 6'3 so you have to do the math based on your height....but still...keep him in mind and keep working hard. (Ladies this ones for you too lol..lovin it up since early WWF)
Edit: For those who are wondering, there are many women who prefer men over 200lbs, me being one of them. My most memorable man was 6'6 and 260 lbs of deliciousness. Not to sound shallow, i just have the preference as any man may be a boob or butt man. No matter how small I get, I'll still prefer it.Last edited by webgodess; 01-13-2013 at 02:02 PM.

Up 2.8 this week, I'm ok with it because I just started creatine two weeks ago and had my first refeed on Tuesday so I'm sure it's just all water weight. Diet and exercise have been perfect this week. Hopefully I'll be in for a drop next week.

Getting back on track after a tough week, had some of my planned out meals here in the freezer at work so I was able to get that portion back on track. My daughter actually asked me last night when I had been eating because she had not seen me eat all week.

Down 2.4 lbs to 184.6. More importantly I'm below 185. I've been stuck at that damn number for quite a while. Hopefully I can keep up the 2 lbs/week.

Lost .2 this week, not surprised since i had 3 bad days (sunday/monday/tuesday). had my family dinner for my mom's bday sunday, went to outback on monday with the immediate family, then had bowling tuesday for the first time in a month so we went for beer n wings after. a loss is a loss though. wrist is 100%, worked out for about 15 mins today, didnt want to over work it, and 45 mins of cardio after. got a physical exam for my new job tomorrow at 8AM so hopefully my wrist holds up
