Im in. Im trying to get down to 130.0. I will be in this for the 12 weeks and then take a 2 week break and resume another 12 weeks and repeat the cycle until I get down to 130.0.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

I'm going to sign up for this. I was extremely motivated to lose weight my first two years (lost about 130 pounds) and now have gained back 40 lbs of that. Dumb stress in real life caused me to regress back into terrible eating patterns and heavy drinking. That's the past and I'm ready to start anew again with 2013. I'm in a similar situation. Halloween it was candy. Thanksgiving it was massive overeating in general. The entire month of December has been just a barrage of cookies and the occasional adult beverage.
I'm glad I stumbled on this thread; I'm ready to make a real difference and finish my weight loss.
I've bulged up to over 225 over the season, and I wanna get back down to the 210 that i was back in November and eventually get below 200.

i'm really enjoying my 2 week break from the healthy lifestyle, eating stuff i haven't eaten in over a year and not worrying about calories. granted i've gained back some weight, mostly water weight i'd imagine, still worth it. can't wait to get back to the gym soon (resting up from a bad wrist injury) and to WIN this competition. got 30ish pounds till my goal weight and i plan on being there ASAP

just submitted (hopefully correctly) & i'm very excited. i just weighed myself and have already lost 5.3lbs in the last two weeks! =O but i'm startin a new challenge so it's a new start.
already lost 56.6lbs and will lose 46 more. goal is 150 at 12% bodyfat.
i want to be healthy, strong and look good being both =P
