sick of him calling me fat. gotta do somethin about it.
nah I was gonna keep bulkin but it's requiring way to much effort.. i have to much stuff going on in my personal life....it's easier to eat less than to eat more at this point.
plus i really do want to be able to walked around the beach shirtless this year.. i've never not been able to do that, and if i stay the way i am, i won't be happy with myself..www.grazethesky.com

****. It's been mardi gras weekend (holiday where I live) and I've been eating the **** out of eeeeeverything hahaha. I've drank around my bodyweight in alcohol and eaten my bodyweight in cake lol. I can definetly feel it too. I've been getting the symptoms of my old ****ty eating habits such as lethargy, greasy hands/face, not feeling like an aesthetic ****, slight facial acne, all that bad ****. It's interesting to see how my body reacts to a good diet and to a bad one, and how fast it reacts. I'd say I've gained maybe a pound back from just Friday and Saturday .
Have any of you read A Guide To Flexible Dieting by Lyle McDonald? I read it I think it was Thursday night and it really changed how I felt about losing fat and dieting. My log: Come tell me how weak I am:

Lost .8 this week. I can tell it is a lot harder to loose weight now. I've increased the intensity of my cardio and weightlifting workouts. I'm tryin to adjust my carb intake lower as well.
Aesthetically I still don't see abs but I'm no longer a size XL in boxers, down to an L. I have a pretty straight forward week, which means i should be able to diet well and hit the gym hard. Hoping to loose another pound.

I stalled around 310-311 for so long in this competition, and for anybody who is having a stall like I did, this is for you! Since the start of the comp I've been around 311, eating the exact amount of calories I wanted to consume every day, with no change on the scale. On Wednesday, I weighed myself and came in at 310. Every day since the scale has dropped. I weighed in today at 304! My scale weight went down over 6 pounds since Wednesday, that's phucking nuts, but it's exactly what people were saying in here, that if you know you're in a deficit, it'll come off. Thanks to those who said that and kept me encouraged and for anybody that's having it tough, STICK TO IT! you'll be happy that you did.
Getting closer and closer to that 300 mark. So excited!- Dave

Dropped another 2 lbs this week. Thought it was going to be 3, but this morning's weigh-in didn't yield that last pound. No problem, I hope it means a good result next Sunday.
So far I've killed every short term goal I've made for myself. I'm planning on hitting 199 sometime next month, which was my ultimate goal for this comp. I can't wait! I'm going to have to step it up--diet, exercise, etc. I'm having my first "binge" in 7 weeks on Saturday, so that should fuel me up for the rest of this thing.

Definitely had a breakthrough this week. I'm down 5.8lbs this week to 242.8, this is the lightest I've been since right after high school which is 12 1/2 years ago. I'm also very close to breaking my all time low of 235. Hopefully now that my plateau has been broken, the weight will continue to fall off.

Yes you can. Just start by giving up one thing this week, then one thing next. Then look back and admire the first thing you can now live without.
Start logging everything on MFP, we will all support you over there.
One thing at a time and NO MORE negative talk, your still in this and we all have and will struggle from time to time. I had an f'n Whopper this week and it shows lol. Not only on the scale but i felt like a bag of shiat.
Clean up your diet, it's making you depressed.
Edit: I kicked my own butt after the Whopper burnin' about 500 cals. When you think about how much you need to do to burn it off, it's not so appealing anymore lolLast edited by webgodess; 02-10-2013 at 10:03 AM.

yeah, its all swollen at the moment and the way the joint was stretched has made it worse, they also couldnt put it back into place for a while until a specialist came as i could have trapped a nerve in the joint
im planning on sticking to cardio instead of lifting now, if im going to lift it will have to be stupidly low weightforever cutting.

Hey guys, I started around 18-20% in December and I'm feeling like I'm currently hovering around 12% now. Feel free to take what you can from these figures -
just thought I'd throw in some motivation to the group, only lost .4 lbs last week and thought absolutely nothing of it. IMO It's common when people plateau very temporarily
that they have the urge to throw in "plateau busters" like refeeds (commonly overdone and just become cheat days too). I've only done 2 proper refeeds in 2.5 months and
have had very consistent results because I trust my daily 400-500 cal deficit to eventually show results, hope you guys can do the same. EVERY DAY COUNTS and will add up
when the scale decides to show you a normalized figure.https://www.twitch.tv/kerune403

Yeah I hear ya man. Found that out myself in the last comp as well, although it still doesn't help with my impatient personality lol. Once I got into the 190s my weight seems to be much more stubborn.
So this week I am 192.8, gain of .8 lbs
Going to be a long week too. Time to soldier on!
Grats to everyone continuing to make progress.

After not losing a single ounce by wednesday, I somehow managed to drop 2lbs since then til today, now at 250lbs! In doing so, I'm now 41lbs down altogether, and very very nearly exactly 20kg.
Don't remember ever being this weight. I'm going to try and bust my balls this week to put in a 8min mile on the treadmill, did a 9 last week unexpectedly, I had never tried sustaining a pace like that before. On the downside, my wonderful girlfriend made her fantastic lasange tonight, reckon I found them 2 lbs I lost.81lbs down, 36 to go.
