Just have a look at the mercury content of the salmon. I genuinely don't know what it is but it's worth checking out. Last thing you want is mercury poisoning.

Personally I would limit the amount of canned tuna/mercury you consume. Try and eat a wide variety of foods.. Make a menu on sunday and go shopping for everything you need. Requires a bit of organization but its worth it come mealtime and your less likely to fail from becoming sick of the same food over and over.

For anybody that has been following my stall, more good news today! Start of the competition I weighed in at 315. After the first week I was down to 310. For the next 3 weeks I stayed right around 311. I dropped my calories drastically to ~1600 and saw a few pound drop, but it came right back. This week I've gone back to eating 2000 calories (probably still low for my weight but I'm comfortable at 2000). On Wednesday I weighed in at 310 (still right around the same). yesterday i weighed in at 308.2 and today I weighed in at 306. As people have said that your weight will stall and then a bunch will drop off, it seems like it's finally happening to my and I'm on the right track! So excited right now. I'm going to stay on my 2000 calories until weigh in on Sunday, and have a take out or something on Sunday. Hopefully I'll be ~304 come Sunday.

Now time to demolish half of a cheesecake that was posted earlier in this thread that I made.

I've had this happen to me before. I had three weeks where I lost maybe 0.25 even though I was on plan. The 4th week I lost 4 pounds, then 2.7 the next and have been going 1-2 per week since then. Sometimes there are just recurrent water weight issues and other things going on that mask weight loss for extended periods.

Didn't make it to the gym this morning. We got a new puppy yesterday and the night didn't go to well. Basically been up since 245am so my energy levels for the day are as low as they can be. On a positive note, I'm back in the low 370's, so all the gain from last week is gone. Think i'll rest today as far as gym is concerned, and just make sure my diet is on key.

Sup all, had a pretty good week, feels pretty good because the previous weekend was a binge. I hope everyone is doing well with their weight loss goals!
Yes I know I am fat and weak. I'm working on it.
    I REP BACK.
Everyone at BB constantly preaches meal timing is irrelevant. Then they religiously take a whey shake post-workout just to prove it.
Ketosis: Because initiating lipolysis during a cut is obviously a terrible thing.
Primal eating: Because cutting out processed foods is obviously a terrible thing.

I probably shouldn't have used the term refeed. Every now and then I enjoy getting a nice Subway hoagie or something from a restaurant, maybe a pizza. I do what I can to fit it into my calories, but if I go a little bit over I don't stress about it because I feel like my calories are pretty low for my size anyway.

I've had 1 Subway that I fit into my macros and one thing from a restaurant that I went a tiny bit over, except those I've only eaten meals I've made myself, so it's not something I do a lot. Just craving something I guess

Yes I know I am fat and weak. I'm working on it.

4 more days to go after this and counting.

Can't wait to increase my calories again and add carbs back into my diet again.

At least when I do that I'll be able to increase my workout volume and intensity a little bit.

I hate only working out like three days per week, but on this low of calories, it's hard to do much more. I could, but I want a smooth transition when I finish this run.

    Until tomorrow, stay strong all.

I received my order in the mail today with my bb.com calipers (and bb.com wristband that I've wanted!). I did it quick and it came out to 32% body fat. That would put me at 209 pounds of lbm. I'm sure it's not precisely accurate, it's hard to use them when you have a lot of body fat, not exactly the easiest thing to try and get a pinch of fat off of my thigh into the calipers.. it's a good thing to go off of though.

So...I just tried oatmeal for the first time...and fml I don't think I like it...

and I don't think I can do 2 cans of a salmon a day...so I will switch that with ground turkey

but I still need dinner ideas? I have always had problems with that...and that's when I always eat the bad foods when I have no idea what to eat

    any idea? don't suggest chicken...

    Burgers!
like...beef burgers? I actually love them...but they are like 330 calories for each (costco)...I can fit only 1 for dinner and that's eating it alone lol

I might do it...unless there is lower calorie beef burgers that I don't know about

Make your own, I used to do it all the time. You just literally make a patty from extra lean minced beef (ground beef to you), add in any spices you might want or some chilli powder or something. Then you grill it, simple.

Sweet...I may finally have a diet that I could enjoy
but...after putting all the stuff in MFP I got these macros

    fat: 83g
    protein: 183g
    carbs: 66g

Is that too much fat and protein for my weight? or is that good?

They are higher than what's recommended but it's not going to do you any harm. It's more important you have a diet that you can follow than one with perfect macros. If you have one with perfect macros but can't stick to it, what's the use?

haha that's really true...I have done that before...macros look good while I really dislike the food...then I end up not doing it and spend the next week or two eating really bad lol

burgers are delicious though...so I got no problem sticking with that
