    Blood work-need some input

I had blood work done last week and got the results in:

    Prolactin: 11.7ng/ml. Normal Range: 2.1-17.7

Free Testosterone: 14ng/dl. Normal Range: 9-30

Total Serum Testosterone: 390. Normal Range: 240-950

    Estradiol: 42pg/ml Normal Range: 0-42

Lutenizing Hormone: 3miu/ml. Normal Range: 2-9

Follicle Stimulating Hormone: 1.8mIU/ml. Normal Range: 1.4-18.1

Thyroid Stimulating Hormone: 0.95mIU/L. Normal Range: .2-4.5

So as you can see everything is in the "normal range" but towards the low end, except the estrogen, which is on the high end. I haven't gotten a chance to meet with my doc yet, I'm trying to see a specialist since she is is PA and doesn't know much about strength training. I'm wondering if I could benefit from an OTC aromatase inhibitor such as Erase or some DAA? Or will that just be a waste of time?

I'm 23 years old so I feel like my test levels should be thru the roof right now!

Your test levels will peak in your late-20s to early-30s.

Right but my numbers are borderline low, and estrogen is pretty damn high, that's what concerns me most.

They are not low enough that you will have a difficult time making gains.

Dont worry about that. You may have some concern with gyno, but other than that, I only believe that high thyroid levels really affect muscle catabolism. I have hyperthyroidism (it sucks)

Yea that's what prompted me to get the tests, as I've been loosing weight, the puffy nips have not gone away. Also I was told the lower the TSH, the higher the levels of T4 and T3, indicating a "faster metabolism" is this true?

TSH stimulates the thyroid to produce T4 which is metabolized into T3 and T3 is directly responsible for increasing energy metabolism in cells.

Estrogen can impair TSH so thats most likely why your TSH levels are so low. Not really sure what your question is though

As Emergency said, talk with your doc. It is next to impossible for someone on this forum to tell you exactly what is wrong as all of those levels are effected greatly by the slightest changes in numerous details at a time. Ie. Diet, time of day, body fat percent, fast/not fasted, etc.

And note that maybe your body is fine with a 300 test level. Everyone's body functions at a different level.
