sh!t rustles my jimmies, boxers, adidas pants and coffee.
the sh!t will only hit the fan more now with the gun control debates, and people acting like idiots.., ya heard a father of a boy slain at Newtown school was hassled by pro-gun control freaks? very disrespectful. You can be pro-gun, but don't be an idiot about it., same goes with anything in life.

He wasn't hassled, someone merely voiced the 2nd amendment while he was talking. It could have been a heckler, it could also have been an anti gun whack job trying to stir up some sh!t.
Btw, the news report stated the 14 year old kid was actually hit in the back of the neck but was stable and conscious.
I love how the article barely mentioned(and downplays) the presence of an armed individual who disarmed the shooter.
Procta - seriously? The interesting thing about these reported shootings is the way they're being reported.Last edited by AlbinoGerbil; 01-31-2013 at 05:50 PM.

Saw The Hobbit today.
It seemed exactly like the first LOTR movies. It looked fantastic! But didn't have a lot of 'unique story points'."Evidently Mr. Ringo's an educated man. Now I really hate him."

^^^ I use to have a tax person do our taxes but it cost too much so I moved to TurboTax online many years ago and haven't looked back. I pay for the deductions add-on and have received extra money back each year because of it. We don't have any special circumstances so it works out fine even with two properties.

I'll 2nd the TurboTax motion. Been using them for the past 5-6 years online and it has worked out great. We have been itemizing the last 2 yrs w/ the mortgage and other deductions. Very easy to use and is fast. Did mine Wednesday night in less than an hour and had the federal return accepted by the following morning. It was $19.99 for the federal e-file and $36.99 for my state e-file (total about $57.00). Some states have lower prices though, it varies.

This was also my experience. If you don't have any complicated investments or self employment income, the software programs do a pretty good job. If you have self employment income though, really consider a tax professional since they can help you find lots of additional refunds and exemptions that you may not find on your own.
