How often should I weigh myself?

Simple question... I ask it because I find myself frequently weighing myself and seeing very subtle results.. This sometimes leads to a drop in motivation or an increase, its kinda hit or miss..

Once a week in the morning before eating or drinking, same day same time.

I don't advise weighing in. its counter productive. if you see gains in waist size and pants size then you are making gains. I never base my weight on anything. if you keep staring at the scale you waste time that could be more productive.

nope, tell that to someone who is lean, you will hardly see any change in clothes size (if any) when you are bulking correctly. That would only apply to the guys who think "you gotta eat big to get big" and put on like 2 pounds a week.
Wasting time? It takes 10 seconds.

weigh yourself once a week OP right in the morning after you go to the bathroom. Any other time your number will be all over the place.
There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

Yup. Once a week, same morning. Then recalculate your TDEE and/or adjust your caloric intake if your weight gain/loss isn't at your taste.

As often as you like, just as long as you can accept some fluctuations. If you are in a deficit you are losing weigh so day to day your weight isn't all that important. If it keeps you motivated do it often, If it doesn't do it less often. If you are recording it, do it at the same time everyday. Most do it, first thing in the morning after taking care of their business.

I weigh myself every morning after i've been to the bathroom.
Keeps me motivated seeing results good and bad daily.
But for most, weekly would probably be best as it's better seeing -2lbs a week than constant fluctuations daily

I weigh myself daily but keep a running log of my average weight over the last 7 days. When I'm cutting, my "average" goes down 0.2-0.4 lbs per day almost without fail. I would actually be more discouraged weighing myself, checking again one week, and coming in heavier. That sometimes happens depending on the sodium/liquid intake for that day, then it goes right back down.
