I just tossed all 3 scoops into 16oz of water and started sipping it on it about 45 minutes pre workout until the time I left for the gym today, seemed to work well
Two scoops is 340mg of dicaffeine malate (which I think provides about 65-70% of that in actual caffeine). So three scoops is 510mg of DCM and probably a good 300-350mg of caffeine.
Day 1 Week 1 DUP Volume Block
Warm ups not listed
Rest periods about 45-60s
Squats (no belt): 175 x 5 for 8 sets
Deadlifts (various stances, might convert to a sumo DL'er after how easy they felt): 225 x 5 for 8 sets
Assistance Work:
Chins (4:1:1 tempo, 20lb counterweight): 12 reps, 10 reps, 9 reps, 8 reps
Calf Raises (4:1:1 tempo): 210 x 20 for 4 sets
Hi-Pulley Rope Face Pull (2:1:1 tempo): 100 x 12 for 2 sets
Origin Thoughts
Felt great today. Thus begins my first workout of the DUP program I wrote up and Im looking forward to putting my body through hell these next couple of weeks
Really felt some smooth, clean energy from the Origin today at the 3 scoop dosing. My motivation and focus were sky high too, and the gym was a ghost town so I just put on my headphones and got in the zone. Weights all felt relatively light, but after doing 16 sets of deads and squats it does get a bit exhausting haha. Tomorrow is bench and OHPs, looking forward to it!Team HALEO™ Rep

This is my "go to"... I'm even going to push that a bit and go with 2 scoops 45 minutes pre-, and then shoot a scoop immediately before training. Should provide some nice sustained energy.
I like your set up here... No bullsh't, no fluff. Keeping it simple.
And you're close, 3 scoops of Origin will award 382mg net caffeine... It feels more like 250, though, thanks to the theanine.

That's a good idea with the 2 scoops and then 1.
I too like your training split man. I'm a big fan of the basics. I respond much better to the basics than the complicated splits. Gym was empty today for me too. Not looking forward to the new year when all these resolution people start coming inLast edited by eric40817; 12-31-2012 at 06:03 AM.

Thanks Smitty. Im actually going back to 5/3/1 after some feedback from others in my log. A DUP program will definitely be something I do when Im more advanced though
Yea thats why I lift in my garage most days, no crowd, blast whatever music I want, grunt when I want, use chalk when I want, etc
Thanks for checking it out Paul, this is some great stuff thus farTeam HALEO™ Rep

Training Monday, December 31st
Alright guys, thus begins the amended new program. Got a lot of feedback about DUP being a bit beyond my experience, so yep, back to 5/3/1 (well actually Im doing 3/5/1 for Powerlifting but its pretty much the same thing).
3/5/1 for Powerlifting Cycle 1 Week 1 Military Press
Military Press (complete reset each rep)
Barx12
65x5
-----
75x3
90x3
100x11 -->rep PR
110x1 for 3 sets
Klokov Press
65x10 for 4 sets
DB Hammer Curls (4:0:1 Tempo)
32.5 x 10--2 sets
Fat-Grip BB Curl (4:0:1 Tempo)
55 x 12—4 sets
Decline CG Bench (3:1:1 Tempo)
115 x 6 for 6 sets in ~6 minutes (i.e. "666" style)
Cool down
Extreme Stretching-30secs each for delts, bis, tris
Origin Thoughts: Did the same thing as yesterday (3 scoops in 16oz H2O). Felt great again! Hit a rep PR on the OHPs and kept an a solid pace throughout the workout. I don't really train for "pumps" but I do notice that my blood flow seems to be enhanced a bit since taking the Origin (likely do the citrulline).

Speaking generally, I don't get the whole "advanced program" thing... if you're comfortable going through, setting up, and performing within the program, then go for it. No need to switch up to something that might not be as conducive to your goal because it's a graded program.
Sh't, the conjugate method (Westside) is supposedly an advanced program, but I absolutely loved it and made some phenomenal progress while on it.
Simply put, and this isn't at all directed toward you, TBS, is if you enjoy doing something, then do it... regardless of whether or not others think you're up to or not up to the task.

Training Tuesday, January 2nd
Yep, 3 scoops is officially where its at
3/5/1 for Powerlifting Cycle 1 Week 1 Squats
Squats (no belt)
Barx12
115x5
140x5
-----
175x3
190x3
205x9 -->rep PR, and I just squatted and pulled two days ago, so much for DUP being too "advanced"
225x1 for 3 sets-->Felt like feathers
Boring But Big Squats
165x10 for 5 sets
BB Calf Raise
135 x 20--3 sets
Sissy Squat
30lb DBs x 15—3 sets
Cool down
2 mile walk
Extreme Stretching-30secs each for Quads, Hams, Calves
Origin Thoughts: Yep, the 3 scoop level is where its at with this stuff! Been having some awesome WOs since doing this dose so not changing it anytime soon. Felt amazing today. Im loving the L-theanine in this blend, keeps my focus and tranquility high throughout the workouts (almost a euphoric feeling).
Today (Wednesday) is a much needed off day

What up, E!
I'm in on this to follow your progress. I love me some Genomyx. Like Bob, SSV2 and Gut Health are both staples. I'm hoping Matt (dsade) brings back Gut Health someday. Until then, i've got about 8 more bottles stocked up
Origin looks great. I love the simple profile, and the full disclosure! I'll have to pick me some up soon!http://www.haleo.com/

Training Thursday, January 3rd
Mother of God this hurts. Had a mishap during my session today and dropped a 45lb plate down my leg and it crushed my toes. I really hope I can still deadlift tomorrow, my toes are still numb and walking is a bitch
3/5/1 for Powerlifting Cycle 1 Week 1 Bench
Bench
Barx12
95x8
-----
115x3
135x3
150x9 -->rep PR, forgot how much I love this part of 5/3/1
165x1 for 3 sets
Boring But Big Bench
125x10
125x8 for 3 sets
125x6
Incline Skull Crushers (like the way these hit the tris)
55 x 12--3 sets
DB Laterals
20lb DBs x 8—3 sets
DB Kickbacks
15 x 10 for 2 sets
Cool down
No cardio today as I could barely walk after the mishap
Extreme Stretching-30secs each for Chest, Tris, Delts
Origin Thoughts: Hit up the 3 scoops of Origin about 45 minutes preWO (finishing it up as I begin my session). Had a great workout aside from the plate mishap. My energy and focus got kind of fuzzy after I dropped the plate cus I thought I broke my foot and it hurt like hell. Luckily I was able to get my mind back on finishing up the weights and then took care of the injury.
If my foot and shin aren't healed by tomorrow Ill probably forgo the deadlifting this week (which pains me to say cus deadlifts are my favorite exercise )
