help with intermitten fasting
I searched a good few hours for the anwser but couldn't find one. Does the eat period need to start and end the say time everyday or can it change based how long you are fasting? Example I stop eating at 7pm, I go to sleep wake up workout at 10:30 am eat at 1pm and stop at 5pm following morning eat at 8 am stop eating at 4pm. Next day workout day no food until 1pm after workout. Sorry if it doesn't make sense I'm just trying to figure it out.

It really doesn't matter as meal timing, eating window and meal frequency are largely just a function of personal preference.

So as long as the fasting is 16 hours + it doesn't matter what time you eat day to day? Just curious as the eating times change on workout and non workout days. I don't want to mess this experiment up.

Lack of iron &or sleeping
It should be at the same time each day if you want to reap the benfit of appetite control - since the hormone ghrelin which regulates your appetite in relation to the time of day will become entrained to the new meal pattern.
If you are typically not hungry in the morning and it's not inconvenient for you to eat in the designated 8 hour window then IF might work for you. Otherwise, there is no magic about it that makes it worth messing up your schedule.

I am sure that eating window doesn't have to be exact every day. If that's what fits your schedule and if you are comfortable with it, it should be OK.

Leangains is IF, but not every IF approach is Leangains.

I'll stick to the eating at 1pm stopping at 7pm(last meal). I can with stand the hunger pings as I fast 24-36 hours regularly after cheat days.
