    Red face Why do people say squats and oats?????

    Just tried quaker oats with chocolate milk....oh lawd


    It was beautiful, why are they good though?

    squats and oats started in /fit/

    its simply saying eat oats cause they are clean carbs with minimal fats and are a classic "bodybuilding" food. squats are the best full body exercise, so in conclusion

    I make shakes. 2cups of oats, 2 scoops of whey, 2 tablespoons of olive oil. 1000cals. 80g of protein. Goes down real easy.

    Well, they apparently digest slowly and provide a steady stream of energy as opposed to simple carbs which realease a ton of energy quickly, then cause a crash (low energy).

    So, I guess they're healthy/useful.
