since you are not competing for bb'ing, your back pose is not much different from your front
don't try try overexaggerate a "lat spread" just keep tight and don't fall into the "leaning forward" mode
stand tall, head up, and keep it tight

The easiest way to learn a lat spread is to stand in front of a smith machine and put the bar about chest high, put both hands on the bar and push down on the bar until you see your lats spread out. Once you can feel and see what it is suppose to look like, slowly take your hands off the bar and continue to hold the pose. Keep your hands as close to your side as possible while doing the spread. I see too many girls with their arms way out in the front or too the side, it looks silly and that is one of the first things a judge will see and mark you off for.

Good Luck
