The Blind Folded Apple Trick at the end of this entree video, where I slice an Apple in half while Totally Blindfolded was a 1 take shot. It turned out pretty Awesome. Gotta love it for sure! Yea, I had A LOT more footage I wanted to use, but you can only cram so much Into a 1 minute or less video upload requirement. I had a Blast creating it though... and I hope to do it again soon

I have come such a long way and have accomplished so much since joining BodyBuilding.com
on March 25th, of 2008. This was my 4th Transformation Challenge, and as

As always, I was training very hard, and was also in my 4th Transformation Challenge too through Bodybuilding.com. I had 3 more weeks to go. I also created 2 more follow up videos and added music to them. This video to go along with my Spartacus entree, and another special video for the end of my Transformation Challenge as well. My final day was April 2nd, my late Grandma (Nana"s) Birthday. It was a special end to my Transformation Challenge and another chapter in my in my Ultimate Journey of Life.

So I've just uploaded my "after" photos for the 2013 Dymatize challenge that I enlisted in back on January 27th, 2013. It's been 84 days since taking those before pics that I wasn't satisfied with. Working both an IT job during the day and a hospitality gig every weekend, I realized my physique was suffering and change was needed.
During this endeavour, I realized the important thing was to set some goals on what I wanted to accomplish and figure out a strategy to execute them. I decided my hectic schedule merited a somewhat tweaked Intermittent Fasting program. I would usually stick to eating within a 9.5 hour window while making sure to gets some protein in after late shifts on weekends. My diet was relatively high in fat and protein with moderation on carb intake during most days. I really tried to stay away from Pasta and shifted more towards getting my carbs from Oatmeal/Rice/Vegetables/Rye Bread (sometimes) etc.
I was training at the gym approximately 4-6 times a week depending how much time I could allocate. The important thing for me was to make sure I was working on both my cardio coupled with weight training during each session. There was serious emphasize on improving my core which in turn helped my lifts tremendously. I focused on improving the weak points on my body by concentrating on very clean form with low weight and higher rep ranges (12-15). I tried to keep time between sets low by resting for approximately 45 seconds-ish.
Overall I'm very happy with the results I've had during my participation in this competition. It was really a motivator in helping me get into a sold habit that I will continue to exercise-literally!.

Hi there Sandra... Yeah, Bodybuilding.com always has something good going on here for sure!!! I have completed 6 Transformation Challenges. Each one has been a positive and productive learning experience where I have slowly but steadily made overall Improvements in my overall health and well being. Since my last Challenge I have actually been able to gain some overall muscle mass size making Improvement with strength and size in my legs as well. That has been very difficult for me to achieve in the past due to fighting against physical set backs. However, I keep persevering and overcoming my obstacles and negative circumstances... No Matter What. I Never Give Up.
I love being challenged... To Me It Represents Opportunity. Recognizing the opportunity for Self Improvement... The Excitement of the Challenge.

The reason I want to join a challenge is to make the first step back into this lifestyle. Once I get started, it will be a lot easier. I feel I need this at the moment to get things going again. I fell off the wagon a long time ago and have been making excuses and vows to "start next week" ever since. Even though I didn't lift heavy back then because I had no idea that this was the way to go, I still felt so much better about myself and looked better when I still went to the gym on a regular basis. I need a competition to help me get back on track. It's sad that my own well-being isn't motivation enough but right now I have to admit that this is the case.I am a woman - on a mission!
