    Formutech Flexible Log

This log will follow my use and thoughts on Formutech's Flexible Joint Formula. Currently, I do have some problems (general tightness) with my right shoulder and back and right knee. I will use two servings of Flexible Joint Formula per day and report back on my experience. I will provide the details of my workouts, diet, and other supplementation. I will also provide some personal background and other personal information. Stay tuned!

    Personal Background

I am 6'0" 225 lbs and around 11-12% body fat. I have been bodybuilding for 3 years, but I was always involved in athletic and lifting throughout high school and college.

Obviously, I have had some injuries, but nothing major thankfully! Recently, I have struggled with some bicep tendonitis, which has been chronic and difficult to eliminate. In high school, I had persistent bursitis on my right knee, which only resolved after being drained. My right knee has never been as strong as my left, and the IT band on my right side is definitely tighter than on my left.

My current training program consists of power lifting, hypertrophy training, and regular cardiovascular exercise. I also mix in hot yoga (I stretch regularly of course) to try to retain and improve my flexibility. I train every day of the week immediately after work, and I usually spend at least 2 hours in the gym. I rarely take rest days, and I usually don't have the opportunity to sleep more than 7 hours a night. Thus, I have to find ways to enhance my recovery time. Fortunately, Formutech's Flexible Joint Formula looks like a product that could definitely help in this department!

My diet isn't that strict. I generally eat between 2,500 and 3,000 calories per day, but it is mostly lean meats, complex carbohydrates, fruits, vegetables, and polyunsaturated fats. I do have a sweet tooth though too. For my protein intake, I try and get between 150-200 grams of protein in a day. I drink at least a gallon of water throughout the day as well. My supplementation is simple as well. I take maintenance doses of creatine, betaine, and beta-alanine and regularly use pre-, intra-, and post-workout (protein powder) products. I also take 2000 IU of vitamin D3, 250 mg of magnesium, and a b-complex vitamin daily. I periodically use fish oil, zinc, and a multi-vitamin. I have used joint supplements in the past, but the formulas were far simpler than Formutech's formula.

I have used two servings thus far, and I am looking forward to observing any beneficial effects on my articulations. I am fairly confident in the efficacy of the formula because there is solid scientific research backing the ingredients (more details are to come on that!).

Incredibly impressed on how quickly Formutech's Flexibile Joint Formula is working in conjunction with my greater focus on stretching lately. The tightness that I have had in my right knee of late has completely subsided, and I feel at 100%. I'm looking forward to testing just how good it is with a heavy leg day this week, probably Friday will be the day! My bicep tendonitis and related back issues have improved - no more nagging pain but there is some tightness still there to be worked out.

    Here is yesterday's workout:

    Snatch
    135 3 sets of 10 reps
    155 2 sets of 6 reps
    185 1 set of 4
    200 1 rep

    T-Bar Row
    4 plates on the barbell 5 x 15
    Drop set finisher

    Seated Cable Row
3 sets of AMRAP for 1 minute each

    Super-set
    Wide-Grip Pulls 5 x 15
    Push ups 5 x 20

    Bent-over Reverse DB Flys
    5 x 20 with 25 lb DBs

    Cardio Work
    25 minutes on the treadmill
    15 minutes on the bike

I really think the two serving per day protocol of Formutech's is really going to deliver for my joints; it is already benefiting me!

Keep it up! Give it a week or two and you should feel that tightness start to fizzle away. I take 2 servings per day of flexible as a staple and it has kept me going a number of times.

That's great about your knee and the tightness subsiding. You seem to be progressing well and what a great surprise to get another bottle of Flexible

My body is feeling great on Flexible! I am incredibly impressed that it had such a significant effect so quickly. It is definitely something that I will continue to buy and use after finishing this log. My shoulder and right knee had significant tightness for several months up until I started this log. I am so happy that both have improved significantly!

My workout today was all cardio and abs so nothing special to detail. Saturday, I spent 3 hours in the gym with one of my brother doing pretty much every upper-body workout possible and hitting some cardio too. It was a somewhat random workout that wasn't well compiled together, but we both got great pumps. I have a lot of solid soreness in my arms, shoulders, and upper chest from the workout too. So definitely gains were made! Lots of heavy. intense lifts are to come this week. I am sure flexible will keep me protected!

Yesterday, I hit shoulders and abs with some cardio. Shoulders are a weak spot in my physique, which I have tried to add a little more size and shape to with my training. Unfortunately, as I mentioned before, I experience a lot of tightness in my shoulders, especially my right one. I also had bicep tendonitis for quite some time in my right shoulder (it seems to have subsided of late). Fortunately, Flexibile Joint Formula has definitely improved the health and function of my glenohumeral joint, which I deeply appreciate. The tightness I am feeling today from yesterday's workout pales in comparison to what it usually is. However, it is important to mention that I have been stretching more, but Flexible is definitely having a positive impact on me!'

    Shoulders

    Arnold Press 5 x 15 50 lb DBs

    Military Press—Bar 5 x 12 115 lb flat bar
    Upright Rows 5 x 12 105 lbs on Z-bar

    Lateral Raises 5 x 12 25 lb DBs
    Full Frontals 5 x 12 25 lb DBs

    Abs
    Decline Sit-Up 1 x 100
    Ab Wheel 1 x 100
    Hanging leg raises 1 x 100

    30 minutes on treadmill

Thanks, been training power cleans since high school and it is by far my best lift. I really have the form down pretty well. My 1RM is 315 lbs! I thought that was great but then I learned Steve Cook could power clean 275 lbs as a freshmen in high school haha So I'm definitely behind! haha

Eh, it's not so bad; I love the sweating! The rough part is that it can get boring. The cardio is definitely great for my joints and muscles - the warmth and increased blood flow is great!

Sunday was more of an active rest day for me. I have been struggling with some DOMS so I focused on cardio and stretching!

After I took a light pre-workout and I did some light shoulders, arms, and abs and then did 30 minutes on the treadmill at 7.5 mph, 30 minutes on the stairmaster, and 30 minutes on the bike. Then I played some basketball with some guys at the rec and did some yoga poses at home after. My muscles and joints felt awesome after! I definitely had an amazing sweat going during the whole workout and the completely cardio focused workout helped kind of reset my body for this week I felt.

My diet has been on point of late (see last night's dinner for example) and I will be further cleaning it up this week.

I feel like all these factors combined with the Flexible Joint Formula is really helping rejuvenate my articulations!

Definitely! Flexible is going to be a mainstay in my supplement routine going forward. I think a year of use is bound to have great effects on my joints! I was reading some scientific literature on glucosamine supplementation. It definitely looks promising and in line with my anecdotal experience!

I agree. It really is an amazing supplement. I know people will think I am saying that because I am a rep. But it truly is no bs.
