Hello all I'm just bored browsing. Wondering where you guys train. I have my own private gym but sometimes I train at the fitness center or at the clients house. I even train outside by the playground with cleints who have kids.

Trained at a commercial gym. Didn't like the rates and babysitting. Then trained at a personal training studio and got raped with paying an overhead. So I created my own place. Now I have five trainers and myself under a 2000 square foot facility. Looking to expand to 3600 by next spring.

I do home personal training, it's dead easy and quite a few clients don't like to work out in a gym. Obv I don't do many hypertrophy guys but that's not where the money is anyways

Depending on what my clients want and where we are in their training, Ill take them to one of the parks in town. There is a soccer field there with nice grassy banks around it for drills. The park also has some killer hills for sprinting. Thats really the only other place I would take the people I work with.

Those are 3 rooms of my first facility. I love the set up and it's treated me really well over the past 3 years.

I like your place, I live in Northern MN so I cant do too much outside training. I have work in a gym that has a 35x35 room blocked off for trainers to have classes and work with their clients. I have kettlebells sizes 10 lbs-65 lbs in there, barbells I can take from the gym, two sets of massive ropes, two trx bands a heavy bag and speed bag, some yoga matts a weight sled a pull up bar and a few weight vests.
I have everything I need in there at the moment but the gym owner is going to expand out and the size of my little room and then get double the equipment. That will work out well, but I am not his employee independent and pay him 15% of my profit. Eventually I will expand out and get my own place. I like the looks of everyones place thoughEach evening I go to bed with doubt by my side and each morning I wake with doubt to greet me. It ain’t easy to live with that sh*t, but it is a part of the uncommon life. There are no promises or guarantees, only an untold future with no regard for your desire for comfort or security.
