I just started going to the gym for the first time at age 36. I've been going for a month so far and have a routine I'm working but I have a question about a piece of equipment.
There is something called an ab coaster which lets you add weights to it that I've seen everyone using and have been using it myself which seems to work the upper abs. Has anyone here used it and is it worth continuing to use? I have also been using this equipment that lets you hang to do leg lifts which seems to work the lower ab area.

They got one at the gym this summer. There are a few people at the gym that only seem to exercise on the ab machines and they seem to like it.
I tried it for fun but stuck with my usual exercises for core. The ab coaster "gives me that funny feeling in my tummy".

There's a gym with the ab coaster?
There is one reputable good review out there. I'd trust this site:

Yep. Golds gym. I don't know if it's the same brand but the mechanics is the same. I never saw anyone fit using it. Most people allowed the momentum to do all the work. Pullovers, leg/knee raises, situps, russian twist are much more work. It's much easier just to look like you are working hard.
Btw, I let my membership expire and work out at home now which is why I'm on the equipment forum.

i have an ab flyer that is like a cheaper lighter version of this:

much cheaper . i'd like to get that nicer one one day though. i wanted an ab coaster but space constraints limited me to a fold up one. it works very well▪█───────█▪ Equipment Crew #46 ▪█───────█▪
