Hmmm...I just put a bit of water in a bowl and steam mine in the microwave for 8 to 10 minutes (until the core is soft)...and sprinkle a little cayenne pepper on top to bring out the natural yummy flavors....
Or...prepare as above but add cinnamon!
That's really the only way I prepare mine.Coming out of "retirement"...Meg is training for a Figure competition...again!!!

I either bake or steam them and whip them with a touch of butter and vanilla. Really simple but so delicious.
My favorite way is whipped with a tiny bit of butter, a grated orange rind and splash of OJ.
Then take the leftovers and throw them into a blender with some protein powder and dairy/non dairy milk (whatever you use), cinnamon and nutmeg and drink it.CSCS

I just peel them, cut them up, and put them in a big pot of water and boil them. After they're boiled, strain them, mash em and refridgerate! There you go! It's simple fast and you can make enough to last a few days depending on how many carbs you eat. This is what I do every week and have been for a couple years.

I bake a bunch on the weekend, and usually eat them topped with a tablespoon or 2 of peanut butter, a little greek yogurt, and cinnamon. It looks kinda gross, but makes a very satisfying snack. I also like them in protein shakes (my protein powders are peanut butter and vanilla almond, and they go well with both flavors)
