    Speeding up a metabolism after eating at low calories for months

    I was eating between 1200-1500 for the majority of this year. I lost a ton of weight and now eating at around 2000. I had my blood work done and everything came back fine but what i'm worried about is that I have fuked up my metabolism and body is set that 1200 is the deficit at which I can lose weight.

    I don't know if I have explained myself correctly but any advice is welcome

    Very slowly increase caloric intake, perhaps by 100 calories every week or two. Monitor weight carefully.

    I have noticed my weight creeping up slowly. Should I reduced down to 1500 then slowly go up to 2000?

    If that doesn't work, I suggest going to a physician to determine if there's a significant hormonal imbalance.

    That's what i'll do, I leave till after christmas to start because even though i'll still be training hard I can see my nutrition taking a beating lol

    how long have you been at 2000? if you've been there for a few weeks already there is no point reducing down to 1500. Stay at 2000 until weight levels off

    Wow, man; you were eating that few?

    I was just looking through your transformation, as I have been losing weight at a similar rate. I am very surprised that we had similar weight loss rates (I'm at about 17lbs/month for the last 10 months) while I've been eating ~1800 calories a day. Did you exercise throughout the year?
