They'd probably look better before. They'd be bigger with much less separation, but I'd def. like to see them all pumped and vascular.

Phil stands with his legs to show off the sweeps and the full, round muscle. Kai should do the same, imo. Phil's legs look bigger from the front, Kai's look bigger from the side and back.

I could not disagree more. Phil needs to pose more like Kai because Phils torso doesn't match his arms and legs and standing with his legs far apart makes it look worse, but if he put his legs together like Kai does, his torso would appear to match his legs better. Its all about how the body parts fit together in each pose, not so much how each separate body part looks. If Kai posed how Phil does, sure, his legs would look monstrous BUT he would be sacrificing the overall flow and proportions of his body to some degree. I believe that Phil has A LOT of room to improve his posing, the reason i say that is because he doesnt seem to be aware how to minimize his flaws. for example, the way he hits his front lat spread and scrunches his chest up makes his narrow clavicles more apparent. If he hit it like Kai/dorian with his rib cage up and leaning back, it would make his narrow clavicles less apparent.

Now I know he is Mr.O so he must be getting something right (even though i think kai deserved 2012) but there is always room for improvement and in Phils case i think its his posing that needs work

I've actually noticed this, but it does puzzle me. It seems other muscle groups generally seem more defined after a workout, so why not quads?

You are correct. Kai usually stands with his knees facing forward whereas phil points his outward. Makes a world of a difference. Matey above quotes a pic where Kai poses differently than normal. His legs look awesome in that shot
