There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

I used to work with a guy that drank 3-4 20oz bottles of Code Red during every shift, one day while we were standing around I brought up the calculator on my phone and worked out how many calories he was consuming and how much he spent a year on the stuff. It was terrifying.

Now that I think about it, don't 20oz bottles of coke and 2-liter bottles of coke pretty much cost the same?
Damn.
I gave up soda long ago, I didn't even drink Coke Zero for a long time while I was cutting. One day about 2 months into my cut I bought a 2 liter bottle of Coke Zero and felt minor pangs of shame and guilt. At that point I knew I was worrying too much about eating "clean".US Coast Guard ~ SEMPER PARATUS

In other news, Martin Berkhan has finally gone off the deep end due to too many idiots on the IF bandwagon.
I'm trying to read what he's written and I just imagine this crazy, ripped Swedish person tearing his hair out.

Why would Martin expect anything else? There are millions of people looking to profit/survive any way that they can. They take his self proclaimed idea, which I would point out he certainly didn't invent. (fasting/IF) Just like every other fad diet/diet scheme, everyone tries to get a piece of the profits that are to be had. Especially in today's world of e-books and self publishing why would any expect anything less? He took the more "noble" road, and allowed others to profit from the sweat off his back. I don't feel sorry for him, he should have either pushed out books or gotten on tv. He could have been a millionaire based off an idea that has been around for a few thousand years at a minimum. He's done great things for many clients, so I've read. I cheer him for that. For failing to maximize his marketability or profitability, not so much but to each his own as long as he's happy with the choices he's made.

I think my workout would have been so much better if I had perved on the hottie at the gym today. She was doing good mornings 3 feet in front of the shoulder press machine I was trying to use. I should have gotten comfortable and enjoyed the show.... Damn she was hot...

Sooo.....
Apparently.....
I had a panic attack.
I still think it's kind of whack they said nothing was wrong with me, or went to check the arteries or a brain scan or SOMETHING.
They just have a script for anxiety...

Read the whole thing. I do picture him ripping his hair out. I do feel sorry for him only because nice guys finish last, especially in the diet industry.
He'll be fine, tho. His notoriety will bring him all of the clients he wants. I don't think he'll push out his book.*LF Chat Crew

I don't want to take meds but I seriously have an anxiety hypochondriac issue and I feel so much more relaxed already just from what they gave me even though I'm still nervous about my health. (And no I'm not high) (This is what normal feels like ie. concern about health problems without shortness of breath and insane heart rate...)
However I don't think my anxiety caused me to almost black out followed with an insanely high blood pressure and pulse rate followed by arms that went numb... Gooby pls.
I wish they would have taken me a little more seriously and done some real tests.
I sat in the hospital bed for 3 hours while they took my blood, gave me a IV drip, and then told me NOTHING other than "it's okay" and here's your prescription.
