The biggest loser...
Dude dropped 20 in a week and a chick 19 so far.
Another hefty dropped 22. dude that was puking all the time..
Another gal 19, and another 12.
Holy **** dude dropped 26 older guy.
my gawd, 29 pounds in a week...
Heaviest guy only 21 pounds...
Oldest dude dropped 20. He's at least 50 years old. (well looks it anyway) Under 47.
Gal only 9 pounds
And the oldest lady at 47 lost 15 pounds.
Then the brutality of the show. Dude loses almost 4% BF in a week and gets booted.Last edited by truushot; 01-06-2013 at 08:14 PM.

Believe what you want, don't change your stats, I don't give two ****s. You won't be here next week anyway as you will be watching biggest loser. 183 at 6' 4" GTFO. Can you say obese? If your nut case of a diet thinks that IF is an appropriate diet then he should go ****himself as well.
On a serious note, yesterday i was gone all day, didnt eat nothing. Came home had steak, a scoop of whey and a glass of milk and went to sleep with 700 cals in my stomach. Granted im not in a deficit but the same thing happens, if im not around food i just dont give a crap about food. had 5800 calories today woo hooThere is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. So....Craze was fun. Nice clean "high" feeling, lots of energy and focus. Hit a new Bench PR of 122.5kg and just missed out on a push press PR of 92.5kg. Weighing in at 83kg now, so gained 3kg over Christmas, which I'll gladly take in exchange for strength

Jpg must have worked Moore. Normal size!
My wife is addicted to the biggest loser. We watched. I scream things at them like "stop crying" and "it's just water-weight".
One guy in particular rustled my jimmies when he said he's been trying to get on the show for like 5 yrs. Now that he's finally on the show, he can lose all of the weight. No, dikhead, you would be in bodybuilding comps by now if you just has the resolve to actually get started.
EDIT: same guy went home wk 1 :/
Lastly, they talk about diet 5% of the time. Drives me batty considering it's about 90% of the battle. It properuates the "cardio is the answer" myth.
In all, I like the show. Too many commercials and the entire show is a PF and Subway commercial, but whatevs. I do like seeing ppl succeed.
Hope all of ther almonds are activated, if not, how do they expect to lose any Bf?!*LF Chat Crew

I bought two flavors of in during cymber monday sales after reading all the hype on here about how crazy it was and how it had people bouncing off walls and BS. Son I am disappoint. Not at all impressed to be honest. I'll stick with my two favorites (MP Assault/BC Bullnox). I still have one opened container, maybe I'll sell it lol.

I lol'd.
Thanks for all the details and lessons learned! I was really sleepy when I read them but I'll reread them later.
I fell asleep watching some of The Biggest Loser last night. I think they were doing 2.5 hr cardio sessions? How many a day? I now understand why so many come in here killing themselves with cardio - they've seen with their own eyes that it works, lol. Yeah, I can see why so many assume it's the only way after watching that.

I can't honestly assess it after 1 workout but I'll get through the tub and see how it is. I enjoyed No Xplode 2.0 and recently tried Rampage, which was decent but tasted too synthetic. I can't attribute my bench PR to Craze either as I've been eating and training loads over Xmas but it gave me a nice buzz and energy. I actually used to get great pre-workout energy from Oxyelite pro too

Been having a lot of trouble sleeping the last several days. I loaded up a guided sleep meditation on youtube through my phone, plugged in some headphones, and had the most peaceful sleep I've had in a very long time. It's 7 hours long so more than enough time to get you nice and lethargic. Next thing I knew, was waking up to go to the restroom (man woke me coming in from work). Decided to unplug the headphones when I came back but easily drifted right back to sleep. Usually, I end up feeling 'wide awake' after using the bathroom and cannot go back to sleep for a bit, so it's nice to feel like I got quality rest for once.
I used to practice meditating before but I don't think I gave it a genuine effort and was too distracted. Seems like it's worth looking into again...

From an interview with a former Biggest Loser contestant
“I think when I was on the actual ranch we were eating between 1,000 and 1,200 calories a day, I’m not certain. The thing is, it got worse when I got home. . . . I would get e-mails constantly from the producers: ‘what have you done today?’ ‘are you working out enough?’ It was just always, always, always. At that point, [I had] all the pressure on me, and [I was] trying to do right by what I had been told is the best thing to ever happen to me. And they would tell you all the time, ’200,000 other fat girls were in line right behind you. How dare you waste this experience? How dare you let anybody down?’
“So I got to a point where I was only eating about 1,000 calories a day and I was working out between 5 and 8 hours a day. . . . And my hair started to fall out. I was covered in bruises. I had dark circles under my eyes. Not to get too completely graphic, but my period stopped altogether and I was only sleeping 3 hours a night. I tried to tell the T.V. show about it and I was told, ‘save it for the camera.’
“At that point, my boyfriend at the time, who’s now my husband, and my best friend and my family stepped in and they said, ‘Hey, crazy, you’re going to die if you keep this up.’ At that point was doing really fun things like not eating at all. . . my major food groups were water, black coffee and splenda. I got to the point that when I was nervous or upset I was literally vomiting my food up. And at one point the scale stalled, I was stuck at 163, and my trainer and the producers all ordered me to take a free day. . . . They said, ‘oh, you’re body needs to be shaken up.’ And I was so afraid of food at that point I went in [to the store], I bought a bag of snicker doodle cookies, and a quart of milk, and a box of ex lax and I ate them all together. And I knew that I was in trouble. And it was at this point that I was like, ‘Hey, where are those doctors and that psychologist that are supposed to be following up and keeping an eye on me that I kept hearing about?’”US Coast Guard ~ SEMPER PARATUS

thats seriously ridiculous. hence why i dont approve of that show and the methods they preach. they make it seem, to fat america, like the only way to lose weight is to eat nothing and spend every second of their day on a treadmill. i wish there was a way to tell everyone they can maintain a deficit to lose 1 to 2 lbs a week and that hours of cardio doesnt have to be the answer. this will never be the case however, simply because it cannot be monetized. after all whats the point of trying to help people if you cant get filthy fuarking rich off of it? amIright?
the worst part is you know once these biggest losers burn themselves out with the diet/ routine they are much more vulnerable to becoming MORE morbidly obese than when they began. after dropping all that LBM you know if they go back to their prior habits theyll bloat up much quicker"The hardship of the exercises is intended less to strengthen the back than to toughen the mind. The Spartans say that any army may win while it still has it's legs under it; the real test comes when all strength has fled and the men must produce victory on will alone." (Pressfield,1998, p.78)

This.
Blows my mind that some people recommend toggle bolts in drywall for mounting a TV.
not even once.
4 3 - 3 1/2 lags into 2 studs minimum every time.
1/4" thickness is sufficient for a big TV that is flat against the wall but for one of those articulating mounts 5/16" thickness makes me feel more comfortable.
