Most people say it's useless. For most people it is. When I'm pushing hard or not getting much sleep I noticed significantly improved recovery. It's cheap. It's tasteless. It dissolves. There is no reason for me to not take it.

If you don't already know about them, look into wall plates designed for hiding wires. They are an essential to make a clean wall mount IMHO. They are super cheap and easy to do. Can pick them up at lowes for few bucks or more for some trick ones depending on what you need. they look like this

as for personal trainers, they are money-leeches and no one needs one. sry in advance if this offends you, but it's the truth. the stickies on this website along with 5x5 are more than enough for anyone aspiring to change their body.

we have one at our gym who is about 350 pounds and a tub of lard. Who in their right mind would pay for his advice? Also we have another who bitched about losing in a competition when he was only about 9% bf...lel. The sad part is he has a crap physique and is on roids, one of his clients is a fat girl who has been around 250+ for two years.

I will disagree. Sure there are bad ones (every profession has bad apples, no?) but I have also known a lot of great ones as well. I feel just because you don't see value in one, does not mean others can't benefit from one. Claiming your opinion is truth is ignorant though. How will 5x5 or stickies teach people proper form? When I am working out I like to watch peoples form. Normally the people I see with the worst form are the ones who printed some random workout from some random website. They don't know what they are doing, they dont know why they are doing it, or what it will do for them. But hey I guess it was free so its ok. I am curious if you have ever had personal training before? I have had multiple trainers over the years myself so my perception may be different than yours.

My opinion is my opinion. Not always truth... I'll be the first to admit that.

I have no PT experience of my own, just what I've observed when watching others at the gym. I've seen them as "personal motivators" if someone wants to pay for that, more power to them. I just see it as unnecessary. Maybe you're right and I haven't seen a good PT. two or three come t mind. They usually weren't correcting form, they were yelling at the guy to push through that last set.

I can personally vouch for not knowing what the hell I was doing when I got started. YouTube and this website were enough for me to make those adjustments. Every gym has a mirror. I just haven't see a need for a PT to correct what I can do on my own. Also, I don't want to pay for one : DDDD

Setting aside the politics, seeing those really obese people keep at it and losing pound after pound was sort of inspirational. I always liked the trainer Gillian more, too -- she seemed more badass and less "fluffy" (not to mention smoking hot). The other dude just seemed too soft.

It hasn't made much of a difference for weight loss, though I'm fairly light now. In the low 180's, hauling around at least 5 pounds of loose skin, I'm really not sure I should lose more weight. Would like to lower my BF% more, but **** I'm skinny as **** now.

I did want to point out the one advantage of it that I have noticed, though I did raise my calories over the last month, I'm not as hungry as often. So for controlling hunger it does seem to be useful.
