I understand that, supplement companies are pretty good at advertising their stuff by making it sound far more dangerous and efficient that it really is. And all the media hype etc.
Atleast i've noticed that alot of people think creatine , protein powder etc. are magical super stuff that makes you huge at once. Always have a little giggle when people come and say they are taking protein powder now and are tearing it up in the gym and getting soooo much bigger. (yes I mean the normal protein and supplement stuff)

All the supplement stuff have for the most part a big "maybe it works" or negible effect as far as I have seen. But for those of us that are dedicated to bodybuilding that "maybe" better effect of workout/recovery etc." is worth it, for the average joe I'd say its pretty pointless. But trying to explain that is pretty hard sometimes
