F*ck my life, do I even have quadriceps attached to my legs or do I stand using assistance muscles only?
I could only put like 35 pounds on each side of the hack squat machine ffs. And after the first set I had to drop it to 25 pounds each side to get 15 reps in.
WTF

Just do like 8-12, no reason to go higher than that really. Hack squat machine is a hard exercise, i am doing 275 lbs on it, 3 wheels on each side and a 2.5 lb'er.
I do them after i already have done squats and lunges, they are a hard exercise and make me want to throw up, honestly they are harder than real barbell atg squats.There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

Feels bad though when you're inspecting the machine like it's some alien UFO before using it because you've never been on one before, and then proceed to put 1plaetlmao!!11!!1 on each side and do 3 reps and realize this isn't happening and have to drop it down to a 25 and 10 on each side while you have 250 pound men surrounding you.
It felt like my quads were ripping apart when I went parallel on that f*cking machine. I could feel everything straining if I went properly deep. I also had to set my heels damn near the top of the foot plate because that machine is made for midgets with no femur.

Yeah but front squats are hard. I don't even do them cause I'm a girl and I can do other things more comfortably and better. You should be able to hack enough weight to scorch your quads. It's just like cheating on deadlift a by not letting the weight go dead, except with the bar behind you and your heels on something.

The numbers don't matter as much as the effort you put in. I can hack like 315, but I only do 225 8-12 reps cause I get an awesome burn in my quads, and I do them between squat and leg press. My quads look 1000000000000 times better than they ever have. I even have a solid crease between the bottom of my quad and my knee cap now.

Hit the gym last night after a break of 24 days. All my lifts sucked, but I did go through the big 3, and did a few more (lat pulldowns, rows, pull-ups, calf raises, and bicep curls).
Now, I need to get my diet back on track. Ugh.
