-Bought Lyle's Stubborn Fat Handbook
-I was pretty lean when I started using Y + caffeine + L-tyrosine. Thought I was legit 10%. Maybe/maybe not. Calipers had me leaner, but IDK if calipers are whack.
-Diet was sub 2000kcals, probably 1800 most days, 100g carbs or less outside of weekly refeed.
-Did Lyle's Stubborn fat protocols (combination of hard intervals and steady-state), fasted, 2-3 times per week. Sometimes just steady-state. Also did a lot of walking/hiking on off days, can't recall if I Y'd on those days, prolly not.
-Did this for weeks/couple months. Til I was close to being a g*dda*mn buck fifty.
-Got pretty dang lean.
Honestly, I don't know if the Y-HCl/caffeine/L-tyrosine made a big difference or not, being that the nature of fat loss is pretty gradual, at least for me. Now, I could tell a difference (the "holy-crap-what-am-doing?!" sensation) vs. if I did the hard intervals without the supps beforehand, but what extent of the actual difference in fat loss is I don't know. Basically, what I am saying is that I would have been surprised and a disappointed if I hadn't gotten at least as lean whether or not I did the Y.
It's worth a shot. It's well documented, and sometimes even if the effect is largely placebo (not saying it is in this case), it helps keep you on track because you are convinced you are making strides.

ty for the write up. This is exactly how I feel. Will it have an effect? Maybe, maybe not. If it has an effect in my mind then it was worth it.
I'm probably 16% now, roughly. I'm only looking to get to 12%, not 8%. I just hold all of my fat in my lower back/love -handle area. Hoping that all of the write-ups on receptors are correct when it comes to the Y.*LF Chat Crew

Way off topic but I wanted to break in and tell you that I saw your account of what happened in your lap, lol. It looks like you saved the best part for la- never again, though. You ended with a reference to an even more cringe-worthy encounter! I have a similar story but I'll save it for another time.

On topic:
My stack-
Morning coffee, a small cup.
Flintstone's Chewables, and I don't even have kids.
That's about to change, however. I'm looking into improving (or sustaining, at a minimum) my joint health. One can dream.

Yeah, yohimbine seems to be pretty pointless until you get really lean and actually struggle to lose the fat (stubborn fat) but doing 2 weeks cycles with yohimbine could be beneficial as the increased heart rate at the start of yohimbine seems to raise your bmr, but the effect on bmr wears off after a week or two.
If you are losing fat at a normal rate 1-2lbs a week, there is not really any need for it. Atleast thats what I have understood of it.
It could maybe be useful to drop fat in those hard to lose places instead of other places tho, if you want to drop belly/back fat etc. instead of having that go last. Shouldnt have any effect on total fat loss but could enable you to lean out in those hard to drop places faster while sacrificing fat loss in other places.
Then again all this is just theoretical since there are so few studies on it, what works in theory is not always correct in real life.

Given enough time, any man may master the physical. With enough knowledge, any man may become wise. It is the true warrior who can master both, and surpass the result.
